Chapter 5: The secret behind her smile (Drunk)

There is no better way to celebrate the end of midterms than a nice private party.

Although it was common for students to sleep in after reading a lot of books during the week, there were some who just wanted to get rid of the stress they had by going outdoors or doing some recreational activity. Becky was one of these fun-seekers. When she told Anya that she wanted to have a party with her, she was excited about her plan and decided to join her.

Great was the surprise of both when Emile had that idea too and asked them about having a combined party between the two groups. The two of them, and him along with Damian and Ewen. Probably, if this had been something they said when they were in their early years of Eden, they would stick their tongues out and start arguing about why girls don't relate to boys.

But now in their later years and being older, this offer was accepted almost instantly and with excitement.

Their bond had grown exponentially. Although they were still groups that were distanced by different likes, there were times when they both came together for the same cause; in this case, they wanted more people so they could have more fun. They weren't going to waste the first few days of vacations with something boring. They were going to have fun that night no matter what. And they had all agreed to have a small celebration at Damian's house.

Now Damian was there, watching his friends arrive home and being careful not to break anything important. The boy didn't know why he had accepted the use of his house for the party they had in mind. Mostly, he only allowed to use his home for study reasons or to play soccer with Emile and Ewen. He was always afraid that, if he invited people to his home for fun reasons, they might cause a total mess and he would end up getting scolded for bringing people who were not well educated. It was the first time he had invited people for a party. For a moment, he wanted everyone to sleep early and go home to avoid getting in trouble with his parents, that is, if they cared about the fact that his son had brought his friends to their house.

However, those thoughts changed after seeing her pink-haired friend in a... different way.

Anya didn't have the best clothing style, but this time, she had shown off in the way she was presented. Kunai earrings adorned her ears, while she wore a fancy pink dress like the ones her mother wore to important parties. She sported shiny Cinderella-style shoes, with her figure looking more attractive than usual. Either Becky had given her recommendations for fancy clothes, or her mother had been the one to help her get dressed.

"Lord Damian, did something happen?" Ewen watched as his friend didn't look away from Anya. The latter had been impressed by how Anya was dressed.

Damian turned a few seconds later, snapping back to reality and looking for a quick answer to Ewen's question.

"It's nothing. I just got stuck thinking about something personal."

Back at Damian's house, all five students took their places at the table first. Before doing everything they had planned, Damian knew they needed late night energy, and a good dinner was what they should have first. Everyone took their seats, with Damian being at the head of the table. Jeeves saw to it that everyone had silverware and plates ready for the feast that was to come in a few minutes.

And among the preparations, there was one special detail that the young men were to know that night. Jeeves gave them all five glasses of wine, poured to perfection and leaving the bottle in case they wanted to try more.

"Wow boss, is that the wine that was in the picture you showed us? Is it delicious as they say? Is it good quality?" Emile asked.

"Of course it is good quality. My father always buys these bottles at home, and he says it's the sweetest thing he ever tasted." Becky answered very confidently, trying to think she was now an adult like her father.
