TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT

In December 2014 (I think), PTX announced that they will be doing the OMWH tour. When my friends in the US and Europe (fellow slayves Sarah, Lia, Ea and Lily) started getting tickets, I wished SO, SO hard that they'd  visit us for their Asia leg. Three months of torture later, they finally released the Asia tour dates. And let me tell you, as soon as I saw that Philippines was on the list, I was screaming and jumping and freaking out because I knew that I will be meeting them SOON (#PTXteas).

BUYING OF TICKETS

I signed up for Patreon after I learned that they will be touring here since Patreon had early access to tickets. On April 4, 2015, tickets for the Manila show were released. I was a little disappointed that patreons didn't have early access so I was waiting by my laptop. I got my VIP seat tickets 10 minutes after it was released.

But really, how fun is a concert when you're alone? My four siblings are fans (although not as big as me lol) so I offered to pay for half of their tickets so that we could all go. Eventually I ended up buying a ticket for my mom, too. Their seats were lower box, though, since I can't afford to pay for (even half of) another 5 VIP tickets. The fact that we were all going made me look forward to the event even more.

THE WAIT

Two months and two days - that's how long I had to wait from the time I bought my tickets. April and May are the summer months here in the Philippines so the days flew by. I was busy both with work and traveling/vacationing with my family.

Over the course of those two months, my friends from Europe all had their OMWH tour experiences. We were all in a chat together so every time someone attended a concert, we'd share pictures and videos and we'd fangirl together. All of them were able to purchase meet and greet packages so all of them had photos with PTX. I think it was also around this time that the Kelly Clarkson tour was announced, so Lauren was also able to purchase a meet and greet package.

The excruciating part of the wait was waiting for the announcement of M&G packages for Manila. My iPad basically became my friend. Every single day I would check my mail in the hopes of a patreon announcement. I would get very anxious when I didn't have internet access for prolonged periods.

Alas, no M&G packages were offered for the whole of Asia. It was disappointing, but I found comfort in the fact that we weren't singled out - the whole Asia leg didn't have VIP so I thought that at least it was fair.

PREPARING FOR THE CONCERT

If you know me or have met me, you'd know that I LOVE to wear colorful things. One week prior to the concert, my sisters and I were shopping and we found these sweatshirts (they weren't made of cotton but I'm not sure what the material was) that came in fuschia pink, black and white. We bought it and right at the moment I declared that all three of us were going to wear it for the concert (it's the power that comes with being the eldest haha).
