Two Goblins, No Brides?!

CHAPTER 4 𝐷𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑡?

Exhausted and hungry, that is what Build feels for these past few days that he has been working and at the same time being Bible's assistant as a punishment.

Nabi and Dom checks up on him from time to time with Ekiel worriedly.

Even they think this is too much for a punishment.

Now, he's sending the 45th soul to the Afterlife which is triple than what is intended goal for each goblin in their department.

"Bui, get the files from grim reaper's office."

"I've done that.", Build annoyingly answered but quickly faked a smile as he sent coffee to Bible's table, " S-Sir... It's in the file in your desk."

"Thanks."

Bible adjusts his eye glasses as Build exits the office and accidentally slams the door. Bui opens the door again and bows, "I-I wasn't meant to do that! S-Sir..."

Bible took off his necktie and smiled at Bui. "It's fine, have you eaten lunch yet?"

Bui couldn't help but want to slam the door again and have this Death's hand stuck. How is he showing that smile as if Bui was not running around with no rest.

"No.", you bastard! I haven't even had breakfast or bathroom breaks!

Bible then grabs his coat and walks with Bui towards the elevator. " Then it's settled, let's go eat at the restaurant."

"Oh, you go ahead Sir, I still have many things to do. Now if you excuse me.", he then presses floor number seven and stood at the left corner of the car.

"You need to eat, and that's final.",Bible presses the first floor and takes the files from Build's hand.

"Look, this is lunch hour which means I get to do whatever I want and what I want is to deliver this file-", the elevator chimes as they arrive at the seventh floor and Bible smiled at Bui.

Is he with bipolar disorder?

What the fuck is wrong with him?!

"Then we'll deliver this them first, you're friends with Nabi right? You can invite them too."

He can only sigh in response, sometimes he really wonder if he has screws loose. He gets authoritive and bubbly, he just can't figure Bible out!

"Y-You didn't have to come all this way Sir, Bui was meant to retrieve this.", Ekeil was panicking, just before they arrive he has been bad mouthing Bible to Nabi and Dom is enjoying how Ekiel's knees are trembling.

"I decided to accompany him, we're going to eat at the restaurant nearby.", Bible glanced at Bui who was seating at the couch with his eyes closed.

He must be tired.

Bible also senses that Bui is perhaps irritated with him this fast few days, but every time he tries to ask Bui's already gone or is distancing himself.

"Or we can order something and eat with you, if you don't mind? It would be my treat so you guys can choose what you want.", Bible offered to which Dom scratched his neck waiting for Nabi's decision, meanwhile Ekiel was wondering where the menace aura has gone.

"If you don't mind why not?", Nabi shrugged and arranged chairs around the table.

"I'll order fried chicken and pork barbecue! Is that good?", Ekiel who was trembling awhile ago, happily presented himself and opened the app in his phone. He's such a simpleton, easily bribed by praises or with food.

"I'll have the usual, two pasta and a coke.", Nabi answers while helping Dom with the computer.

"Bui?", Ekiel nudges him and pokes his cheeks which caused sudden anger in Bible.

He gets the urge to punch when someone touches Bui when he's around.

He knows they're his friends but he misses the way Bui talks and clings to him when they first met. Him smiling brightly is heart melting.

He's still figuring out if he's indeed jealous though...

"I'll have what you want, leave me alone...", he sleepily replies and hugs his knees. Ekiel then ordered and ran to wait for the order at the reception.

"Mr. Hornbill, it's free food! Why you have to be so disheartened? This is the first time you're not jumping around.", Dom jokes and pats Bui on the shoulders.

Bible then asked to go to the bathroom where Nabi is, fixing his coat. He knows Nabi because he was the one who trained with him. Nabi then sends a smirk at Bible's reflection who's face is gloomy and surrounded with dark clouds.

"You're too harsh man. If you want Bui to talk to you again you have to lighten the mood, all this ordering around and errand excuse doesn't work."

"How would I do that? He's avoiding me. I thought we'd be closer since I transferred here but it's not going anywhere."

"Simple, act his friend and not as boss."

"I'm failing."

"Well try harder, and he likes food, it's a good start.", Nabi reassures him.

"Yeah, I hope it works."
