"Trev, wake up." I was roused by Kuya gently shaking me. I heard him call my name several times, trying to get me to open my eyes. Pero sobrang bigat ng talukap ng mata ko na kahit pilitin kong buksan ng kaunti, hindi ko magawa. I groaned, trying to sit up, but failed miserably.

I felt Kuya's hand guiding me, steady and reassuring. Slowly, I managed to open my eyes and saw him standing in front of me, worry etched across his face.
"Eat this. It's already 10 in the morning. Your temperature's quite high, Bunso," he said, explaining with a hint of guilt.
I saw a tray of food, with some medicine placed neatly at the side. I felt a sharp pain shoot through my back as I tried to sit up. Slowly, I managed to prop myself against the headboard, but the ache coursed through my body, making me wince.
