When the light faded, I saw Mal holding a clear purple pendant that resembled purple amethyst. She pulled out a chain from her pocket and muttered a few words, connecting the chain to the necklace. I tilted my head in curiosity as she walked over to me. "It's for you. Turn around so I can put it on you," she said with a smile.

"Sure," I replied turning around.

She placed it around my neck and turned me around by my shoulders

She placed it around my neck and turned me around by my shoulders. I checked my watch and saw the time. "We have to go now. You can admire your work later," I said turning and walking out of the room. When I turned around to see if she was behind me, she wasn't. "Mal! Come on!" I yelled seeing her walk out of the room with a proud smile. I shook my head and ran back to her.

"We'll be late if we're not there in five minutes," I said grabbing her hands and teleporting us to the front of the school. All the students were gathered and the press looked ready. "You can go find the others if you want," I said watching as she nodded and walked off. I looked around and spotted them near the front. They were watching me with smiles so I waved.

I sighed as I stepped onto the makeshift stage set up in front of everyone. Stopping at the side of the podium and bowing to the crowd, I watched as they all returned my bow. I stepped in front of the podium and began, "Good afternoon citizens of Aurodan and the Isle." I had to make sure I addressed both to create a link of understanding between us. This was important to maintain future bonds.

"You must all wonder the reason for my summoning of you here. Yesterday, a meeting was held between the council and I presented some changes to be made to the Isle of the Lost. It didn't take much convincing before all the royals agreed," I lied through a stiff smile, "Before I continue, I would like to state all the royals who agreed.

King Kristoff and Queen Anna of Arendelle.

King Eugene and Queen Rapunzel of Corona.

King Charming and Queen Cinderella of Naples.

Queen Leah of the Enchanted Dominion.

King Phillip and Queen Aurora of Ulstead.

King Eric and Queen Ariel of Atlantica.

King Florian and Queen Snow white of Germonia.

King Naveen and Queen Tiana of Maldonia.

Sultan Aladdin and Sultana Jasmine Agrabah.

Chinese ambassador Mulan and General Li Shang.

King Adam and Queen Belle of Aurodon.

I would like to pay thanks to all those royals and send best wishes to Princess Aurora and he husband as they prepare to take the throne of the Enchanted Dominion while ruling Ulstead." I watched as members of the press rushed to write down that information as I looked down at the papers in front of me. My hands were shaking a bit as I took a deep breath.

"Now for the changes made to the Isle of the Lost. We've conducted some research and have talked to our recent transfers and have come to the conclusion that the Isle of the Lost is in an inhumane state. The air quality of the Isle is horrible as well as the quality of food and water. Even the buildings are dilapidated. The overall quality of life is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

As a result of these things, many children are left as orphans because their parents have gotten sick. Some children have died because of the environment alone and will continue to. Both children and adults are getting sick because of all these factors while we live well here. So, we have decided to change these things immediately.

Every week a fresh shipment of food will be sent over to the Isle. We will be implementing the use of magic to treat the water and the air. We will not be using the Isle as a dumping ground as it would send us back to step one. Until the water is fully treated, water will also be sent over to the Isle to drink and use freely. The air has already started receiving treatment and will be safer to breathe by Friday.

Fairy Godmother will also be bringing sick children over to Aurodon to treat them before they return home. We will also be bettering their living situations by renovating the buildings, courtesy of Fairy Godmother, and building an Orphanage run and funded by the royal families," I said knowing this was the only way to get some of them to do it, "I will be visiting the orphanage once a month to ensure it's properly maintained and that the children are taken care of. I would also like to tell you about the transfer program. For now, it's just the four students but once they've been here for two or three months and haven't caused trouble, we'll begin bringing over other children from the Isle. Any questions?"

They all raised their hands and I pointed to a random woman in the back. "Your majesty, how are you going to protect the citizens of Aurodon from the transfer students?" she asked smartly.

"We have implemented measures such as advisors, trackers, etc. to ensure that they don't cause any issues. I, myself, have been interacting with them and can say that they mean no harm. The four are so sweet and if I can say this, they're a bit kinder than some of our own," I say with a laugh watching as the press and most of the student body laugh along with me, "Next question please."

"Your majesty," a deep voice calls out, "What inspired you to present this project?"

"Those children in the Isle aren't their parents. They are their own people and make their own choices. Their parents were the ones who tried to harm others, not them so why should they be punished for their parents' choices? Should I be punished because my father was a bit mean to an old lady before he bettered himself? Should Prince Naveen's daughter, Odie, be punished for her father's attitude before he bettered himself?

We threw them all away with no chance of redemption and treated them so horribly that if there was ever an incident with the barrier, I wouldn't doubt they would want revenge. So I'm trying to change that. I'm bettering their lives, children, and adults, with the hope of someday being able to join us without the stress or thought of revenge. I hope you will all give them a chance in the future," I explained with a nod, "Anyone else?"

"Are you sure this is the best course of action, Your Majesty?" a woman in the front asked with a worried face.

"Yes. If this fails, I'll take the blame. We can't expect to not have villains if we don't treat people with basic human decency," I said making them all think, "That will conclude this afternoon's conference."
