[ basic plot - y/n will be a 'trouble make' (not really, you'll see what i mean) in school, but she has a crush on miles, and she tries her best to act 'good' around him, and pleasing, in a way, however her many attempts fail miserably, and she always goes back to a salty way 😭]

i sit in school, tapping my pen in a very fast pace while resting my head on my hand, in a bored manner.

i sigh, staring at the teacher, or, more like glaring, but i didn't even realize i was.
i wasn't paying attention in class either.

"y/n. stop tapping your pencil." my teacher demands.

"it's a pen," i corrected with a monotone voice.

"acting smart? want to go to the office?" they scold.

"what did i even do?." i question, getting a little annoyed.

"y/n." their voice was like venom, and it almost made a vain pop in my head.
i hate this teacher.

i was about to say something that would probably get me detention for the whole year, but that's when a student walks in.

i was sorta worried he wouldn't be here today.

i fix my posture up slightly, and change my sour expression to a more calmer one, attempting to look a little more pleasing.

"miles, you're late again! . . .y'know what?...detention ! and detention for you too y/n ! i'm done with you !" the teacher screams.
my expression changed to a very offended one, i can't believe i got detention for that.

i'm would make a complaint to the principal about this, honestly, it's too much sometimes.
but the problem is my principal doesn't like me much either.
cause almost everyone at this school sees me as a 'trouble maker', which might be true, but i hate being called that.

and because i'm a 'trouble maker', the teachers always target me for their rage, im always kicked around and stuff, it's so . . .

i make eye contact with miles, which catches me off guard for a split second, and i had the stupidest expression on ever, so embarrassing.

i huff, standing up, maybe detention won't be so bad, since it's with miles !
i always try to get miles attention, but i always end up regretting it cause i do something extremely humiliating.
with all the things i've done, he probably dislikes me or something.
my gut slightly sinks at the thought.
but
he may not even like me one bit.

i slide my backpack over my shoulders, walking my way out the classroom.
i watch as miles protests against the detention, but eventually takes the defeat.
