We all know who Usada Pekora is by know. Famous Virtual Youtuber, Idol and Talent contracted under the company Hololive, which was created by COVER in their quest to create 'Wholesome Virtual Idols'.
That's the gist of someone's dreams - they had one, alongside many hopes and aspirations. But there was one major problem.
His dreams were downright Irreprehensible.
People are not well.
It's unrealistic for one to dream of happiness when those who are to deliver said happiness are unhappy themselves. It's basically the same as someone spreading sadness for millions of people to witness first-hand.
...
In any case- it's not as though our protagonist is sad, which would seep into her work. No. However, she is...
...she is...-
"I don't know what I am."
-...-
Eventually, she managed to reach her destination, which was still HoloHQ. The nature of her visit still being a mixed bag - on one hand, the blunette simply wanted to do nothing - that could have been done normally at home, but she wanted someone to be able to see this and react in any way that involved an activity, to destroy her boredom. Whilst her other hand opted to simply look around the building in hopes of finding something to occupy her time with. As long as it didn't require much.
...due to the early time, while also being the Weekend, it was expected that HQ would be partially empty, expect for the security and Staff, of course. To be honest, Pekora tried to steer clear from any persons she didn't recognize as best as possible, in hopes of just staying out of anyone's business.
Then again... wouldn't anything work-related also concern her in a way? She was one of the many talents, not to mention one of the main sources of Hololive's income as well, with her being the 2nd most-watched streamer.
That's a burden in the making.
She will personally refrain from thinking about this topic for the rest of the day, unless it is brought up by anyone in which she will dispatch it instantaneously.
Anyway. Immediately after entering the building, the idol made her way to the elevator almost immediately, only to begin her rather slow ascent upwards - the 8th floor was her target.
...for some reason, there wasn't any elevator music playing. She took notice to this.
"Maybe they're..thinking of what to play?" Possibly.
For the moment, Pekora stole a glance down at her phone, checking the current time in the process. It was just 10:06 AM.
And that's when she received a notification from 'Discord'. Someone sent her a message - by the looks of it, it was someone she knew closely.
"Huh.. Marine's running late. Must have gotten a hole in her sails." That's both a jab at the fact Marine didn't have a Pirate Ship - because she wasn't a real Pirate - and at the fact she didn't own a car, to compensate for her lack of a Pirate Ship.
Hehe.
...sigh.
In place of elevator music, our protagonist decided to take herself to the inner landscape of her own mind.
It was a comfortable space, one where she would often flee to during stressful moments in her life, though those really only happen when she isn't within the comforts of her home.
