- IT ALMOST WORKED -

2) - MOMENT -

*time skip*
(2 weeks into sunis school life)

suni has learnt a lot. she's learnt loads in school, and she's learnt a lot about the people around her. she's also learnt a lot from the 'butterfly project' she was signed up to, where she met a friend called mijin - a rebellious, funny, outgoing individual that didint care about what others thought about her.
she discovered that mijin was quite a lonley person - with no family and only a few distant friends. so that's why they were both in the project. it was probably for the children that needed it most.
she's discovered that nayeon is crazy, so she avoids her.
she discovers that jimin is using hyoreong to try get closer to onjo, so then she can ditch hyoreong.
she's also discovered hyoreong likes to be called hyo.
she discovers that everybody calls her brother baresu, because of his weird habit of never wearing socks.
she's discovered that onjo likes her brother, but cheongsan likes onjo.
she discovers that daesu likes wujin sister,hari.
she's discovered that namra likes to shut herself off because she's scared of her grades dropping, and that she's name as first real friend.
she discovers that daesu calls wujin brother in law.
she's also discovered that wujin and nayeon are cousins.
but the biggest thing is...
shes trying to discover what wujin is to her.or more like, what she wants him to be to her.

it's very easy to label it - they're very good friends. since namra likes to stay alone at lunch, suni stays with wujin, joonyeong and daesu. she's gotten significantly close to wujin - especially after the staring incident on sunis first day. they hang out almost everyday afterschool and wujin always goes back to sunis to watch netflix with her and snack until he goes home at around 8pm. wujin and suhyeok have gotten closer too since they see eachother more because of suni, and sometimes suhyeok hangs round with them too.

however, suni has started to feel weird around him - sometimes her stomach feels like it's spinning faster then a wheel, she can't stop staring or thinking about him, she always talks about him and it's confusing suni. it's scaring her too.

suni goes on google one night after wujin left, but seems to not get any answers.

she couldn't go to suhyeok because he was friends with wujin and she's scared he would tell,

so she wants to tell namra as soon as possible.

at school

it was science with mr lee and suni was tired and beyond bored. it was near the end of the day, but she had science club straight after until 5pm. even though the topic was interesting, she couldn't stop staring at wujin and she was overwhelmed about the whole situation.
sunis legs started to bounce like a spring and she was getting sweaty. she knew what was happening. she was having a panic attack. but she couldn't find a distraction.
everything was going fuzzy, and she was shaking the desk too.
suni got a sharp, stab-like pain in her chest, in which she gripped onto the desk, making a loud noise.
wujin and namra turn to her side, while suni began to hyperventilate. she's managed to get the whole classes attention.
suhyeok turnt to his weak sister, parinoid, while namra was whispering in her ear and wujin was holding her hands, rubbing his thumb beneath her smooth skin.
"you two!! out. now. how dare you interrupt my lecture!!" mr lee demands furiously. "and class prez, don't get yourself caught up in these irrelevant students!!"
wujin stands, going over to suni, guiding her to the door as she was a trembling mess.
"it's ok.." he whispers into her ear. "just one second, ok?"
wujin turns over, too see suhyeok lisping -
"take care of her."
wujin lips back.
"i will."

suni and wujin got outside, suni still shaking and hyperventilating. wujin sat her down and hugged her softly, rubbing her back with one hand and playing with her hair with the other.
suni calms down almost immediately. she stopped rapidly breathing and her shaking began to stop.

for suni, this is something that she has never felt. she has never been comforted like this during her panic attacks and what makes it better is that wujin is the one comforting her. even though they have gotten closer, only namra and suhyeok knows about sunis struggles, and wujin comforting her whilst being unaware makes her feel so special. she trusts him, but even more then ever, she really wanted to tell him what's upsetting her. but he was what was upsetting her, and he didint even meant to. but it's made her feel so much better that he's so understanding and calm with her ways. this wasn't just a hug, it was the coming of trust, relief and thankfulness.

but what does this mean for wujin? is it something he's been waiting for? or is it just a hug?

wujin breaks up the embrace, looking at suni in the eyes.
"look, i don't know what just happened and you don't need to let me know what happened, but no matter what, i will always stick with you and be here to help you. just know you can tell me anything, ok?"
suni looks at wujin, with such a warm look to her face. she smiles, relieved he wasn't angry or confused.
"wujin, thank you for doing this. no one has ever comforted me like that. you don't know how greatful i am to have you. you're my best friend."
wujin smiles, and rejoins the  peaceful embrace.

it was a moment suni definitely will never forget.

(a/n: i'm so sorry if it seems rushed i'm trying to do it at a normal pace, but because i'm making this up and planning before the actual storyline which will take a while, i don't want to do so many chapters)
