- IT ALMOST WORKED -

4) -BARRIERS-

the hallway

the girls were running. they were in the science corridor and were hunting for a empty science lab to stay in for the time being. onjo, suni and namra helped knock out the little amount of zombies, and the rest of the girls looked for labs. nayeon checked the fist classroom, isak checked the second, jimin checked the third and hyo checked the fourth.
"mines filled with them!" hyo says.
"fuck!  not here!" jimin says angrily.
"FUCK! NO!" nayeon bawls out.
"this one's empty!" isak squeals in relief from the side.

the rest of the girls dashed to isak. but they discovered the lab was locked.
"fuck," isak whispers. "anyone have a hair pin?"
sadly, nobody had a hair pin.

the boys came rushing in the science corridor, painting like dogs. they all rushed to the girls.
"is it locked?" joonyeong said breathlessly.
"yeah.." hyo replies hopeless. joonyeong sighs.
"where's bare-su?" suni asks paranoid.
"he said he will catch up, he's fighting the last few." gyeonsu heaves out.
"but they're more coming here..." suni says, but finally snaps into realisation. "SHIT! SHIT SHIT SHIT!!"

the group instantly panic, yet suni and daesu paced fast enough to save the group. suni tackled a group of zombies to the floor, stomping on them, kicking them, and throwing them into eachother. daesu took off a window and initiated a shield for the group of friends.
joonyeong, wujin, gyeonsu and cheongsan who saw this took off more windows form the classrooms and made a bigger shield. the rest of the girls kept watching.
suni was laundering more zombies out of the windows and into eachother - even trapping a few into the stair rails. but she started loosing energy - rapidly. she had to take action before she got herself injured. she leaped into the shield the boys made and stood up, immediately detaching more windows and giving them to the girls.
"we need to do another set on your side before more zombies get to you." she gasps, still trying to catch her breath.

"daesu what are you doing!" wujin calls out.
"i'm getting the door, but keep the windows. make room!!"
the boys moved out of the way, letting daesu launch the door at the zombies. cheongsan and gyeonsu went to help him, while jooonyeong and wujin helped the girls on the other side. nayeon and jimin went over to help daesu though.

"everyone ok?" wujin yelps, taking his energy out on the shield.
"yeah!/yes!/mhm!" he got back from the rest.
"i have an idea, let me off the shield. prez, take my space." onjo says.

namra obeys onjo. onjo runs over to the hose and breaks the shield, revealing the fire hose. onjo begins to bash the lab door so they could unlock it and once again, find saftey.

isak began yelping, she looked in pain and in discomfort.
"are you ok isak?" suni asks.
"yeah... just.. worn out.." she hyperventilated.

wujin attempted to hold sunis hand while on the shield.
"what do you think you're doing.." suni questioned him.
"you usually let me.." wujin mutters.
"it's different now, put your hand on the shield or we're going to fucking die." suni glares.
"fuck..sorry.." wujin says sarcastically, a bit pissed off but she was right.

"onjo how long will you be!" cheongsan asks impatiently.
"not long!" she yells back.
"fuck! were going to die!" nayeon squabbles.
"shut the fuck up!" suni screams back at her. "you're just making it worse you bitch!"

everyone was loosing their energy fast and more zombies were piling over the shields. they didint have long left until one of them would have to leave the shield to fight the zombies.

"hurry up onjo!" isak squeals.
"i did it!" she yells.

.........

the group scurried into the lab like they were rats. joonyeong and gyeonsu guarded the doors whilst everyone was sitting down, catching their breath and at least attempting to gain the energy they just lost.
suni was glancing around the room, her hand entangled with namras.

"cheongsan." she says shakily. "where's suhyeok."
