- IT ALMOST WORKED -

5) -FIRST GOODBYE..-

"yeah cheongsan. where is he." onjo glares in dissatisfaction.
"he said he'd meet us here- cheongsan muttered, but was interrupted when a zombie reached their arm out of a window by joonyeong. he rapidly picked up a fire extinguisher and took fire to the creature.
joonyeong, who was known to be clumsy, missed the zombie and smashed another window. that's when daesu and wujin started to make a border by the windows and doors to protect them all.

after the group made the new borders, cheongsan looks at onjo, then at suni, apologetically.
"suni. im sorry we lost him." he states. "baresu is quick and can fight for anything. im very sure he is in a safe space."
suni looks at cheongsan, visibly in distress. she started playing with her hair and shaking lightly.
namra knew what was going to happen.
"suni, let's sit you down." namra says calmly, attempting to not alert the others about sunis state, or her own since they were never aware of sunis issues or her feelings for suhyeok.
suni followed namra on the floor by the teachers podeum, where nobody can really disturb them. after alpt of reassuring, namra succeeded in making suni feel better.

....

everyone was in their own spaces talking amongst another, some to themselves. hyo was with jimin, nayeon easedropping them. cheongsan was talking with gyeonsu, who was leaning towards one of the doors. onjo and isak were by the windowsill, and suni left namra to her own thoughts because namra asked to do so - so she was sat with daesu, joonyeong and wujin, leaning against the other door.
"you know, you are doing so well right now." wujin tells suni. "i'm so proud of you." he smiles at her.
"wujin-ahhh.." suni whines, smiling back. oh how he could make all of her problems disappear just by speaking to her.
"come here.." he says, dragging suni closer to him. he pulled his arm over her shoulders, holding the palm of her hand. suni turnt a bright shade of pink, clearly flustered.
"lovebirds. get a room." daesu teases.
"aren't you the one that fantasies about his sister?" suni teases back, smirking at him.
"yah! she's my rock! he cries out sarcastically.
"and i'll bash your face into one." wujin glares at him intimidating daesu, immediately shutting him up.
joonyeong was laughing the whole time.
"but on a serious note," joonyeong says. "would you two ever get together?"
"me and hari?"
"no suni and wujin, you wuss."
"i-

"isak. your nose." onjo says unsteadily.
everyone motions to the two girls by the windowsill. isak had a mild nosebleed, only from one nostril. her eyes were bloodshot, like mr cha's and coach kangs. she wiped her nose slowly.
"it's  nothing." she says.
"YAH! HAVE YOU BEEN BITTEN!" nayeon shouts.
"it's really nothing!" isak shouts back at her. she sprints over to the little mirror on the bookshelf at the back of the classroom. quivering.
everyone was stood by the pair now. wujin held sunis hand tight.
isak turnt back over to onjo, crying. onjo embraced her friend in a hug.
"i'm not like them, right?" isak cries out, with an unsteady voice. onjo was in tears. this was the last time she would ever see her bestfriend as a human being, the last time she'd ever be herself.
cheongsan yanked onjo out of isaks arms and held her tight.
"onjo-" isak walks over to the girl, but her knees suddenly hit the ground. she face planted the floor and froze for a second.
"FUCKING GET HER OUT!" nayeon bursts out in anger.
"SHUT UP!" gyeonsu retreats back at nayeon.

tears were falling down hyo's, jimins, daesus,gyeonsu and onjos faces. suni was threatening to let them out,, but she needed to stay strong. she wanted to stay strong for onjo. suni was quite good friends with isak, so seeing her go like that did hurt her a lot.

isak started snapping in inhuman positions, twisting more then a string. she raised herself up and stared at onjo and cheongsan for a second.
"isak.." onjo whispers - which isint unnoticed by the now zombified isak. she charged at the two, cheongsan pulling her out of the way. daesu threw isak across the room, where she then glares at suni and wujin.
"move quick," suni whispers to wujin. "i'll be ok, i promise."
without hesitation, wujin listens to the girl, trusting her.
with tears still in her eyes, suni grabbed a chair and  dragged its legs on the floor, triggering the zombie. suni stood by the window, where isak stared at her. isak attempted to charge at suni, however she threw the chair out of the window and slid on the floor, near jimin and nayeon. onjo rushed to the window to hold isaks hand. for one more time.
cheongsan looked at onjo, her eyes sore and watery, staring at her basically dead friend.
"let her go." cheongsan says, saddened.
nayeon threw a chair towards cheongsan, where he used it to bash isak off of onjo.
suni rushed over to onjo, preventing her from getting any closer to the edge of the broken window.

and that's where they watched isak fall.
that was the last time any of us would see her.
suni was heartbroken, so she couldn't imagine how onjo would be feeling right now.
