Chapter 15: Twin Talk

 Everyone had left the Hwang apartment except for Seungmin, Felix, and the girls who had decided on an impromptu sleepover after the exciting news about Yuna and Jeongin dating. Felix was about to leave, and Hyunjin was going to walk him out, but Seungmin stopped him, and the girls looked at Seungmin like he was a savior.

"Yeji, I have to talk with Hyunjin. Can you walk out Felix instead?" Seungmin smiled innocently, but Hyunjin and the others knew exactly what he was up to.

Yeji smiled softly at him before volunteering to walk Felix out the door. As she and Felix left the apartment, Seungmin turned to Hyunjin with a mischievous grin.

"Why did you do that?" Hyunjin asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeji was right; you really do unintentionally cockblock," Seungmin chuckled, teasing his boyfriend.

"Hey, what does that supposed to mean!" Hyunjin protested, his cheeks turning slightly pink.

The girls and Seungmin watched out the window to see what was happening between Yeji and Felix. Felix was just about to cross the street when he turned back to where Yeji was standing. He took out a small box from his pocket and handed it to Yeji. The girls gasped, and Seungmin couldn't help but feel excited for his friend.

Yeji opened the box, revealing a delicate feather earring inside. She looked up at Felix, her eyes shining with happiness, and then she hugged the freckled boy tightly. From afar, they could see Yeji mouthing a "thank you" to Felix, who had a bashful smile on his face.

"Aw, that's so sweet," Chaeryeong cooed, and the others nodded in agreement.

"They're adorable together," Ryujin added, and Seungmin couldn't have agreed more.

Hyunjin, who had been pretending to be uninterested in the sweet moment, couldn't resist adding a playful remark. "A feather earring? Seriously, Felix? Are you trying to turn my sister into a bohemian hippie or something?" he teased, exaggerating his fake disgust.

Seungmin chuckled, knowing well that Hyunjin was just teasing Felix. "Come on, Hyunjin. It's a thoughtful gift, and Yeji looks happy with it," he said, trying to diffuse the playful tension.

Hyunjin grinned mischievously. "Alright, alright, I guess it's not the worst thing in the world. But don't get any ideas, Seungmin. I expect something much better when it's my turn to receive a gift," he replied, shooting a playful wink at Seungmin.

Seungmin rolled his eyes playfully. "Oh, don't worry. I'll make sure to get you the fanciest gift ever, Your Majesty," he said, playing along with Hyunjin's banter.

The girls giggled at their playful exchange, not suspecting anything between Seungmin and Hyunjin. They continued to watch Yeji and Felix, who were now engaged in a lighthearted conversation, and it was evident that the small gift had made Yeji's day.

Soon, Yeji and Felix said their goodbyes, and Yeji made her way up to the apartment. Everyone who had been discreetly watching the scene outside acted as though they hadn't seen a thing. Yeji entered the apartment with a radiant smile on her face, and the girls couldn't help but notice her happiness.

"So, can I see the earrings?" Hyunjin mischievously asked, nudging Seungmin's side, trying to provoke him.

Seungmin playfully hit him on the arm, pretending to be annoyed. "Hey, don't be nosy," he said with a grin.

Yeji chuckled, not suspecting anything, and decided to show her friends the beautiful feather earring that Felix had given her. The girls admired the delicate accessory, complimenting how stunning it looked on Yeji.
