Swing me to and fro
toward and from
until i'm done
until where we'll go
and where we've come
feel one and the same
till you know my name
the whole of it
not just the first
the thousand and one middle names
the best down to the worst
Swing me until the world stills
until we're old
talking of hills
that we crossed straight up both ways
reminiscing on yesterdays
Swing until these stationary
planetary worries carry
me, myself, and I into
freefalling through a weightless sky
And i warn you -- i might cry
when you let go
because i know
every song comes to an end
but for now, lets just pretend
that our lovely little dance will never
put a space between our For and Ever
