So we had got ready and immediately made our way to the club where the party would take place. I was already a little scared because we were in a foreign country and we didn’t know anyone here. Who knows maybe this club was only chosen for certain people here?

Shortly around 11 p.m. we arrived in front of the club. The way was not difficult because really everyone was running in this direction and the music could already be heard two streets away. In Monaco, everyone lived such a peaceful life. Wow! In Germany, this would never be possible, everyone would complain about disturbing the peace or something like that. We entered the club and the atmosphere in there was great. Catarina and I felt right at home, we were both looking at that. We smiled at each other and then we walked through the dancing crowd towards the bar. „Two lillets please“ catarina ordered our favorite drink from the guy behind the bar and received it with a smile shortly afterwards. „It’s so great here, the people, the mood, just everything,“ catarina then raved and I could only agree with her „yes. Yes, you are right. I love it here“ After drinking our drink, we put the glasses on the counter, smiled nicely at the guy behind the bar and made our way to the dance floors. Just now, the song changed to „Spectrum from Florence + The Machine, Calvin Harris“ Catarina and I changed a quick look and knew that this was our sign. We loved this song, of course with all the others our playlist but this song reminded us every time of Formula 1 and everything we had already experienced together. After we had danced to the song and more, we made a short detour at the bar again. The planned short detour turned into a slightly longer break in which we sat at the stools and watched the people, and that’s exactly where we were still sitting and sipped our drinks. What exactly that was I couldn’t say that the guy behind the counter had put something together and let us try it but it tasted very good.
„Ayleen? Look back there for the two girls who are dancing. Do you see? They look so familiar to me“ Catarina spoke over to me after a while about the music and I looked in the direction she meant. And really the two seemed really familiar to me. „ boar that’s a good question now. But yes, they also look familiar to me,“ I answered thoughtfully and watched the two girls a little, just as Catarina did. „Oh God! I know it“ called Catarina after five minutes and I only looked at her questions so that she finally told me who it was. „Yes, let’s say it“ I had no more patience. „One is Lana, and the other should then be Laura“ She spoke with a smile on her face and I had to briefly think deeply about who the two were again. „Man Ayleen don’t you know anymore? Maybe they confuse us,“ Lana smiled nicely and wanted to turn around when Aylenn took the word „I am Ayleen, and this is Catarina. We met in Germany almost four years ago and were about to make a friendship, but unfortunately you both just disappeared from one day to the next and we didn’t even know where you had gone. We are sorry if you no longer know who we are and apologize for the disturbance.“ Ayleen explained and became a little sadder towards the end because the two probably no longer knew who we were. „Ayleen? Catarina? What are you doing here? I remember you, of course. And lana certainly also“ Laura then suddenly spoke very happy and embraced us in her arms. They knew who we were. Our friendship could perhaps be rebuilt. „What are you doing here? In Monaco?“ Lana then asked a little thoughtfully „could we ask the same thing?“ I then countered with a counter-question. „We are here because we have tickets for the Monaco Grandpix. It’s our first GP together life and abroad so what doesn’t fit better than Monaco?“ Ayleen then answered her to the question „ohh That’s really great, I hope you’ll have fun.“ Laura then smiled. „And you?“ I asked curiously and they both took a look at each other. „So where should we start.. phew“ said lana. „Best at the beginning.“ Said ayleen then and both nodded and took us to the upper area of the club. Why did you disappear so spontaneously without saying anything?“ I asked and looked at both of them alternately.

„Lana lives with her boyfriend, and she lives here in Monaco. I’m here because my friend is in Monaco for work this week, but we actually live in Marsaille. We are also only here because lana’s friend, his brother, his brother’s best friend and my friend wanted to go party today before they have to work tomorrow.“ Laura answered the questions. „But it still doesn’t answer the question why you disappeared so without a trace,“ said Ayleen this time. „We really wanted to get in touch with you, but it was all so spontaneous, you have to believe us. Even before we met, we were in a phase of getting to know our current friends but no one knew about it and it was getting more serious day by day. First Laura went to Marseille to see her boyfriend, he had invited her on a weekend and she agreed. Again, I didn’t leave until a few weeks later, but I hardly left the house. I grabbed my bag and just stayed at home, actually Laura was supposed to come back after the weekend around Wednesday evening but she called me and said she would stay with him they had talked and would try a relationship. Of course I was happy for her and then completely forgot to let you know. It was almost similar for me. I flew to Nice 2 weeks later and my friend picked me up. I’m sure you have new ones now, don’t you?“ Ayleen then asked after a good half an hour and we all agreed with her and so we both handed our cell phones to lana and Laura who each typed in their numbers there. „We must not lose our contact again,“ lana then said and smiled proudly. „No, definitely not,“ I agreed. „let’s go dancing“ This time it was Laura who proposed this idea. So we all went to the dance floor together.

„Puhh that was exhausting“ I said after a good hour of dancing when we were on our way back to the VIP area. Laura and lana had invited us and didn’t accept a no. „Save me, are you also on the track on the weekend?“ Ayleen asked and I asked a question directly afterwards „and who are the two poor people who have to put up with you?“ The four of us started laughing again. We just arrived at the top and lana just wanted to answer our questions when she spoke a male voice in between „Honey! Hey, where were you?“

Me and Ayleen looked speechless at who was sitting there in the sofa corner. That can’t be. That’s her boyfriend? Which one is Laura’s then?
