Would Always Be Yours

Once caught but never smitten,
They tried to lure me with their bold conditions,
Their hands on my neck,
Their words in my ear,
Their scent on my bracelet,
So I threw it off in the river,

And I saw the traitors lined up like princes,
Holding banners down, like they suddenly respect my crown,
Folding stories made my heaven,
And a woman named Raya opened the door to the quest,

"And I wanted to join the legion of the dramatic justice seeking events, but I had errands, and I couldn't leave before I got left"
She whispered,
And I stared at her with all my whiskers,
And I asked her,
"But I was your husband's-"

"Illicit affair? I know, but strangely a woman forced to marry another man would understand a love that was taken away"

And I just heard her golden words say,
"Love is love, and don't worry I never even saw him that way"

And so I guess you could say I have a friend now,
Pretty argumentative, antithetical dream girl with a persona that could make you stunned and easily wowed,

And I was face to face again,
With the government and their niche,
'Ruin the life of other's' scheme again,
But I had a Castle by my side,
Which in the will it was said that it was rightfully mine,

And so in my white gown I stood Fearless,
Blessed and cursed,
With no meaning to my life,
To being given the title of the owner of the palace,
With every chink in my armour I never knew I needed,
But I got because I had decided to speak up,

But things turned into something bigger,
As I was watching with disgrace,
Feeling my trust fall to my face,
Somehow, somewhere in this haze,
I got a sense I'd been betrayed,

And the tears fell for the first time since the run,
And the sky fell black over my slightly tilted crown,
And Raya fixed it only to say,
"The night was old and fhe day is young, don't let them fool you they're nor worth your time crunch, hold the sword of your spirit and cut them down, don't waste this time, look up and catch the rays"

And I saw the golden hour falling down,

And as me and them,
We danced in grief and hope of justice to our hearts content,

They put their fingers on my hairpin triggers,
And so I held my hand up to a sign,
I fooled them with a designed Michelin star,
An effect of my ring reflected right in their rouge wines,
And so they stopped,

And we moved in circles,
Our hands up in the air,

And as we sang,
The rain danced to the feet,
My eyes finally gaining back their ability,
Of crying, and showing emotions that I never knew when I had lost,

I looked down to everyone's saddened faces,
And I looked to my side,
I moved to the center where Icarus' body lay in my plain sight,
And I let it sink in,
And I finally realised,

I fell to my knees,
And I let go of the control to my eyes
