[[Note this is once again placed at the start of lizzies and colbys first meeting. Colby is 21 and lizzie is 19.]]

The beginning of a friendship part 2.

[[Colbys Pov.]]

Glancing over at the familiar blonde hair of my best friend and brother sam, i couldn't help but smile with excitement to explore the next adventure with him and this time a few guests will be going with us old and new especially when we both decided to pick out two random fans for the next adventure to come along with us. Putting my fingers through my dark shaggy locks i press my head against the cool glass of the window.

"Where are we meeting them again?"

My voice slightly husky from exhaustion as Sam kept his gaze upon the road and I felt like taking a quick nap.

"Colby don't even think about sleeping."

Sams voice echoed through my ears, it's almost he can read my mind sometimes and it's scary.

"We won't be long meeting them! Apparently they're big fans of us."

Sam tapped the wheel happily as I just stared at him for a moment, shaking my head with a small grin upon my lips.

"Sure."

I simply huffed out and soon the small pub came into view.

"Are you sure no crowds of people are about?"

I asked just knowing how crazy the fans are, don't get me wrong I love them and all that but sometimes they can be too much.

"She said it's quiet around here..." Sam mumbled a little and got out of the car.

"I suppose you should just trust a random girl then."

I said sarcastically and got out of the car, closing the door behind me as Sam gave me a look.

"Colby... it's going to fun! Going back to the conjuring and exploring with the fans!"

Of course sam seemed to excited on the outside but they both know what that hell house is capable of.

"I won't call it fun... you wasn't in the fucking basement alone."

I mumbled a little and stuffed my hands into my pockets as I stepped inside of the pub ready to meet the fans as Sam called them.

"I'm getting a beer or two."

A playful grin formed upon my lips as I winked at Sam knowing he can't drink while drinking.

"Asshole."

Sam grumbled out at him.

[[Half an hour later.]]

After drinking two beers and listening to Sam talk about tonight's plan, I came out of the bathroom to spot two girls talking to Sam. One with red hair and green eyes looking like she has a crush on my boy, very bubbly and talkative and the other girl seemed distant with brown hair and hazel eyes that glow like honey in the sunlight from the window. If angels existed I believed they would look like her.

"Were you taking a shit bro! Jesus!"

Sam shouted out and I immediately made a silly face.

"I needed to pee man."

With a grin upon my lips, Sam introduced me to the two girls but only one caught my eye.

Lizzie.

She's so beautiful and memorizing, it's like looking at a goddess. Cheesy? Probably yeah.

"So are you really a skeptic?"

I whispered to Lizzie as we all started to leave the pub and she lets out a small chuckle.

"Is it a bad thing?"

She asked and I couldn't stop looking into those warm eyes of hers.

"No... our friend Nate he was also a skeptic until the Sallie house changed that."

Lizzie lets out a laugh and it sounded like heaven to my ears, the most beautiful thing i ever heard.

"The demon in sams ass?"

She asked in a playful tone and sam quickly interrupted before i had the chance to say anything.

"Hey shes not in my ass, okay?"

The blonde whined out dramatically which made us all laugh and we all arrived at the car.

"Are we going all together or in the same car?"

The redhead spoke in her bubbly voice what was her name again? Oh Gemma.

For god same don't forget her name!

"We could take our car and leave yours by the pub?"

Sam suggested to the redhead and Lizzie spoke up.

"Isn't it better with two cars?"

Awe she sounded a little scared after all we're strangers to them.

"Don't worry! We're not axe murderers."

I jest at the brunette and cleared my throat.

"It's an hours drive there and it's easier to take one car."

I glanced over at Sam who bobbed his head in agreement.

"But if you feel uncomfortable..."

My gaze met Lizzies for a moment and everything stopped. It's like a thousand little wings fluttering away in the pit of my stomach and I quickly looked away.

"We go with you guys."

Lizzie spoke in a soft and gentle tone which made me look at her again and I couldn't help but smile.

"Let's go peeps!!"

Sam yelled out loud which cause a few odd stares from the local villagers.

"Dude."

Letting out a snort, I stepped inside of the car and takes the backseat as Gemma took the passenger side and Lizzie sat next to me.

"Wait..."

Lizzie spoke once again and looked at everyone in the car but her gaze lingered upon me.

"Where are we going?"

She asked, curiously and I take a shaky breath meeting sams gaze in the rear view mirror.

"We're going to the conjuring house."

I whispered to her and my mouth suddenly went dry just remembering the past experiences with that hell house and I refused to meet her gaze.

"Oh..."

All I heard was a quiet response from her and I gently nudged her arm, flashing her a soft and warm smile.

"Don't worry, I'll keep you safe."
