Chapter Two: Arc Troopers

Our intelligence unit here aboard The Relentless has just intercepted a transmission from General Grievous. Ba'vodu (ba'vodu - uncle) Obi-Wan, Chase, uncle Anakin, and ba'vodu'e (ba'vodu'e - uncles) Cody and Rex are on their way here since it's likely something big. I'm on my way to meet them in the hangar while amu (amu - mom) and buir (buir - dad) wait in the debriefing room.

I meet them in the hangar, then take them to the debriefing room. When I left, the vode (vode - brothers) in our intelligence unit had just started decrypting the audio. They should be done a little after we get there if I know the Seppies' encryption.

When we get there, I go to stand beside amu (amu - mom) and buir (buir - dad). Chase takes a spot beside ba'vodu (ba'vodu - uncle) Obi-Wan, and uncle Anakin takes his other side. Ba'vodu (ba'vodu - uncle) Cody and ba'vodu (ba'vodu - uncle) Rex stand beside each other and remove their helmets.

"We are decrypting the audio, sir," Tracer says.

When they get it up and running, Ventress is the first to speak. She owes me a rematch after Alaribose.

"The clone planet of Kamino will be a dangerous target."

Then General Asthma himself. "Just make sure you hold up your half of the mission. We must stop the production of new clones if we are to win this war."

"Kamino," amu (amu - mom) says, shock evident in her tone.

"They're going to attack our home planet," buir (buir - dad) says.

"The Separatists are taking quite the chance even considering this," ba'vodu (ba'vodu - uncle) Obi-Wan says.

"With all due respect, General, if someone comes to our home, they better be carrying a big blaster."

"I concur with Captain Rex, sir. This is personal for us clones," ba'vodu (ba'vodu - uncle) Cody says, buir shows his agreement with a nod.

"We'll make sure Kamino is secure. Tell your troopers in the 501st they're going home," uncle Anakin says.

Amu (amu - mom) and ba'vodu (ba'vodu - uncle) Obi-Wan nod to buir (buir - dad) and ba'vodu (ba'vodu - uncle) Cody. I guess I'll inform ba'vodu (ba'vodu - uncle) Kya. He won't be happy that he can't fight in this one. But he did nearly get himself blown up in the last battle. Which was less than a week ago.

"Yes, sir!"

After amu (amu - mom) says I can go, I take Chase with me and we go see ba'vodu (ba'vodu - uncle) Kya. Wish doesn't allow us in for more than a few minutes, but a few minutes is all I need.

"Ba'vodu (ba'vodu - uncle) Kya."

"Leeda, Chase. We got a mission?"

"'Lek ('Lek - yeah), and you aren't going to like this. the Seppies are attacking Kamino."

He frowns, and mutters, "Great. And I'm stuck here."

"Sorry, ba'vodu (ba'vodu - uncle). But you know Wish, he'll tie you down just so you won't get up."

"I'll do it too! I outrank all of you when you're injured!"

"We know!" Chase, ba'vodu (ba'vodu - uncle) Kya, and I all shout back. I think that's one of his favorite things about being a medic. He outranks everybody at times.
