Oscar's POV

"And by the way, I would love to come on a date with you." that was the last thing I heard, before falling asleep. My heart was smiling and I slept really good.

When we woke up, Rose went to her room to get ready, but came back straight after.
We were quite early, so we went to breakfast first.

I could see she wasn't okay. She only ate fruit and was hesitant about it.

"Sun, are you okay?"I asked and she nodded her head, looking me in the eyes. I crooked my head, eying her suspiciously. She gave me an annoyed look.

"Why are you calling me Sun?" she asked.
"You remind me of it." I smiled and she shook her head.
"Why? I'm dark and broken." she was going to ramble if I don't stop her.
"And yet you light up the room, when you walk in." I grinned and took her hand.

"I'm nervous." she admitted. "But I shouldn't put burden on you, you have to race too." she laughed nervously, looking away.

"You're not. You can trust me." I smiled. She blushed and it made my heart race. She was so cute when she blushed.

Wait!

I made her blush. I made her blush for the first time.

"You okay there? she asked and I snapped out of my thoughts.
"You look cute when you blush." I trailed off. She was making me shy. I wasn't shy. Why was I shy in front of her?

Was I falling for her?

Bitch, of course you are. Why else would you ask her out on a date?

Because I want to fuck her?

Stop. Admit it. You're falling for her.

But what if I'm not?

Shut the fuck up. Yes you are.

"Oscar are you seriously okay?" she snapped me out of my thinking again.
"Yeah, i'm good. Just a bit nervous." I hummed and she nodded her head.

I wasn't nervous because of the race. I mean a little, sure but that was not it.

I was scared of falling in love again. Of getting hurt. Badly. I was scared it would happen again.

I suddenly stood up coughing.
"We should go... I have a meeting in twenty minutes." I stated and she stood up straight away.
"Yeah, let's go." she smiled and took my hand, but I snatched it away.

"I- i'm sorry." she started but I shushed her with a kiss on her lips.
"I didn't want to be rude. I just didn't know if we wanted to show the world all of this, you know." I explained myself and she looked down.

"I wouldn't have a problem with that." she whispered and felt sorry now. Was I selfish? No of course not. I just wanted to make sure.
"I don't have a problem with that either, Sun. I just wanted to make sure." I said, cupping her cheek.

I put out my hand, which she happily grabbed and we walked out of the hotel.

We were going with her car, as she claimed it was better than mine.
To be honest, I agreed.

We made it to the paddock in ten minutes. I don't think I want to drive with her ever again.
She was dangerous. She rages every two minutes at some driver who doesn't know how to ride.
And she thinks a car is the same as formula. Cutting all of the turns.

The woman scared me.

I was also nervous about how people will react about us. I couldn't do this. Not yet. And I could swear, she wasn't ready for this too.
