The air was suddenly pierced by the crushing sound of glass shattering and various objects colliding with the floor. It was as if a thunderclap had broken out within the room.

"I'm sorry, baby, I got upset. I didn't mean too." said Aaron

Diamond trembles in shock, her eyes welling up with tears. as a child and a baby cries in fear

Diamond held her face as she herself backed into the corner of the room, trying to create as much distance as possible between herself and Aaron. She could feel her heart pounding in her chest and the fear coursing through her veins. The room felt suffocating, and she desperately searched for an escape route in her mind because of the sudden outburst and the fear it had triggered in her. She struggled to find her voice. Her mind was filled with a mix of confusion and sadness.

"Baby, come here. I didn't' mean it," Aaron said as he got closer to Diamond, forcing her into a hug.

"Come on, stop crying. I apologized, baby." Aaron whispered into Diamond's ear.

Diamond looked over at her children, stopped crying, and listened to Aaron calm down the situation. She knew that she needed to remain composed for the sake of her children, who were now watching the scene unfold before them. Taking a deep breath, Diamond wiped away her tears and tried to regain control of her emotions.

Aaron was a manipulative and, both physically and emotionally, abusive man, often using apologies and affection to control Diamond's reactions when he hit or yelled at her. Diamond had experienced this pattern before and knew that she needed to be strong for herself and her children.

"Ayee ok girl I see you" said Autumn

"girl you might want to save that energy for tonight when the club opens" said Kayla

"you know we gotta make that moneyyy!" said Nia

"Ok i see y'all but y'all better have this same energy tonight" said Destiny

the girls started twerking, dancing, and two girls got on the pole while that song "Act Bad by Diddy" played in the back

suddenly it went quiet

"Aye what hap-" shouted Nia but she slowly realized

there was whining and screaming.

"aye some one take these kids to the back!" shouted destiny

autumn runs up and takes the kids to the back to care for them.

"Kehlani...honey what happened" asked Nia

"Nia just go get a ice pack out the freezer. come on move girl" said Destiny

Destiny took Kehlani by the hand and sat her on the stage

"Now girl what i told you about letting that bitch put his hands on you" said destiny as she sighed

"I'm sorry i just—" "honey look at me" Destiny interrupted

as she gently lifted Kehlani's chin. "You never have to apologize for someone else's actions. It's not your fault, okay?."

Destiny grabbed Kahlani's hand and put her hand on the other side of her face

"what is your name in this damn building" asked Destiny

"Girl what is your name!... don't make me— "Diamond. its Diamond" Kehlani interrupted .

"Diamond your letting that nigga mess up your money... this is your money maker. keep letting that man put his hands on you wont be no money .

Kehlani looked down, tears welling up in her eyes. "I know, but it's not that simple," she whispered. "I'm scared to leave him."

Destiny pulls out a gun and points it up at the ceiling.

"wait! i told you I'll handle him D." said Kehlani

"When is that. Huh!" said Destiny said as she smacked her teeth.

Kehlani took a deep breath, her voice shaking. "I promise, I'll find a way to handle it soon. I just need some time to figure things out." as she studdered

"girl come on we gotta put some makeup on that wound," said Destiny

as she put up the gun. "We can deal with him later, but right now we need to take care of you," Destiny added, concern evident in her voice.
