Sara:
After carefully washing my hands and face, I prepared for breakfast so that I could accompany my father back to the city. With an urgency in his voice, my father instructed me to hasten my preparations so that we could begin our journey promptly, as he had an abundance of work that awaited him in the city and our stay may extend until evening.
During our journey, my father called out to my mother, cautioning that we may not arrive until late into the night. My mother assuaged his concerns by wishing us a safe journey.
After a two hour-long ride and completion of my father's work which concluded at 7 o'clock, we embarked on our homeward journey. The roads were still and the atmosphere was calm, however, it was already dark, and a sense of fear loomed over me. As the rain began to drizzle, my father continued to drive on the quiet road outside the city.
Listening to the soft pattering of raindrops on the roof of the car began to make my eyes heavy. Abruptly, a dreadful sound disrupted the peaceful atmosphere. Despite my father's attempts to maintain control of the vehicle, the wet and rainy road caused the car to skid, colliding with the stone wall beside the road. He then proceeded to evaluate the situation by exiting the vehicle. The front tires were deflated and the right fender was damaged, however, the remaining parts of the car were relatively unscathed.
My father hypothesized that we had run over something which punctured the two tires. Trembling from the impact of the accident, I queried whether he could repair the car. Regrettably, he shook his head in negation, explaining that he only possessed one spare tire, necessitating a journey back to the city to acquire another. While I was hesitant to stay alone, I responded with stoicism, indicating my willingness to wait for him in the car. I implored, however, that he return expeditiously...
