the act- Fossy's POV

Once she felt Valin's bony arm around her waist she felt very uncomfortable so she was glad when Keefe said something to Valin. But. She was tired and fed of of that stupid bish Valin. She had a crazy idea that could potentially ruin her friendship with Keefe, but it was worth the shot. She couldn't deny it any longer that she was in love with Keefe. It wasn't even at a crush stage anymore! Biana was the only one who knew as a fact. Everything else was rumors and lies. So she went for it. Here goes everything, Sophie took a deep breath. trust me on this, she transmitted to Keefe. 
She took an internal deep breath before she said to Valin, "I have a boyfriend" 
Valin scoffed and said, "Who is it then?"
"Keefe" she said, proud of her voice for not cracking. Even though she wasn't an empath, she knew Keefe was stunned. Mentally and physically. Sophie was in mega panic mode, so she stepped on Keefe's toe. I'll apolagize later, she thought, knowing very well, she won't. Then Keefe started playing along with the act and put his arms around her waist and pulled her towards him. She was sure she was going to melt, but she decided to pull the act together and got the courage to quickly peck him on the cheek.  Everything that happened after that was a blur of memory. After that, she didnt see Keefe until Lunch. The worst part? Valin was a blabbermouth. The rumors quickly started to spiral throughout the whole of Foxfire. "Sophie and  Keefe made out!" "Sophie manipulated Keefe into dating her!" "Keefe stole Sophie from Valin!" "Sophie is this! Keefe is that!" UGHHHH WHY THE HELL DID I SAY THATTTTTTTT?!?!?!?!?!?

"SOPHIE WHAT THE HELL GURL?!" Biana yowled in her ear at lunch. 
"Yeesh Biana what happened?"
"WHAT HAPPENED IS THAT UR DATING KEEFE SCENCEN AND YOU KISSED HIM"
"Only on the cheek!" 
"THATS WHAT THEY ALL SAY!"
"Wow Bi. Are you jElLy??" Tam rested his chin on the top of Bi's head, so she couldn't see him wiggle his eyebrows at her. "Hoooold up. Bi?? Since when did you two get so close? Am I MISSING SOMETHING????" Sophie counterattacked. Biana and Tam immiedietly scooted several feet away from eachother, their faces more red than Stina's lipstick. 
"Fine I'll tell you the whole story." By the time Sophie finished, Dex, Marella, and... Keefe came in. Sophie's azure eyes locked with Keefe's ice blue ones and a whole sad level of understanding went between them. When Keefe looked away, Sophie could feel a tiny crack in her heart. But they couldn't talk now. Not in front of all their friends. Wait... not all. "Looks like Fitzy and Linh are a no show!" Keefe forced a laugh as he sat as far away from Sophie as possible. Tam almost GROWLED. And if it weren't for Biana's hand rested on his, he probably would have torn down the entire school to look for them. No one replyed to Keefe. The next few minuted was a killing silence for Sophie. Tears started to form in her eyes and thank the lords that Biana was the first to notice. "Truth or Dare?" she suggested. "Sure." Dex agreed for everyone. And so that dreadful day went.
