It's Saturday morning, Tiffany, David, and Michelle are sitting in the kitchen table eating cereal while laughing and talking. "Well good morning," says Tina who is coming from out of her bedroom. "Michelle I got a call from your mother last night," says Tina. All of a sudden the room gets quiet, Michelle takes a second before she replies, "Well what did she say?" says Michelle. "She is mad about you leave, and wants you to come to get the rest of your things," says Tina. "I guess I have to find somewhere else to live, the only thing is I don't know where should I go," says Michelle.

"Even though I don't agree with you leaving home, I'll let you stay here until your mother cools off, so later on today we'll all walk to your house and pick up your things," says Tina. "I'm so thankful for you," says Michelle as she stands up from the table to hug Tina. After Tina hugs Michelle she takes a sip of her coffee then says "So on another note, Does anybody have any plans for today?" "Well I would like to go to the mall today, but I have tons of homework that I need to start on," says Tiffany.

"Tons? Tiffany?" says Tina. "Yes mom, I don't think the teachers at this high school like me very much," says Tiffany. "I'll help you Tiffany if you need it," says Michelle. "Oh, that's nice, says Tiffany. "Tiffany high school isn't supposed to be easy, it should help prepare you for your future," says Tina. "Well, I don't have any homework, so I'm going to meet up with the fellas at the basketball court to play some ball and I could use a cheerleader says David who's looking at Michelle.

"That would be nice but I'm not in the mood right now to be going outside," says Michelle. "Well I'm going to get ready because I have some errands to run, Michelle when I get back we'll walk to your house to get your things," says Tina. Everybody finishes their breakfast, puts their dirty bowls in the sink then walks in different directions of the house. David goes into his room too, throw on a T-shirt and shorts then walks right out the front door to go play basketball, then shortly after David left, Tina walks out the door to start on her errands.

Now it's just Tiffany and Michelle left in the house, Michelle goes in the bathroom, turns on the shower, then gets in. Before starting her homework Tiffany picked up the telephone to call her friend Keisha to see if she wants to hang out later on. After Tiffany gets off the phone she starts on her Algebra. After Michelle gets out of the shower she puts on a tank-top, shorts, and Nike gym shoes, then she brushes her hair into a ponytail. Since Michelle's homework was all done she decided to go do the morning dishes so Ms. Watson wouldn't have to come home to a dirty kitchen. That was her way of showing gratitude since Ms. Watson said that she could stay there until her mother calmed down.

Once the dishes were finished, Michelle went to check on Tiffany to see if she needed any help with her homework. "Hey Tiffany, do you need any help with anything?" says Michelle. "Yes, I thought you would never ask, Do you know anything about Algebra?." says Tiffany. Michelle sits on the bed and laughs. "Yes, which problem are you working on?" says Michelle as she takes a look at Tiffany's math book. "Um, I'm working on question number three, I just don't get," says Tiffany. "Oh okay, I can help you," says Michelle.

Michelle slowly helped Tiffany work out each problem, the way Michelle explained each problem to Tiffany, Tiffany quickly started to understand. By the time the two of them finished time had flown by, "Thank you for helping me." says Tiffany. "It was no problem, do you need help with anything else?." says Michelle. "That's all I needed help with," says Tiffany. "Well let me know if you need me again," says Michelle. After Michelle finished helping Tiffany she goes outside to sit on the front porch.

While is sitting on the porch, Michelle thinks long and hard about the loss of her baby,

the abuse she suffered from her stepfather and the argument with her mother. She was about to cry, but she caught herself because she realized that she was outside, and she didn't want the neighbors to see her cry. As she continues to sit on the porch Michelle started to write in her journal, she wrote down everything that she was feeling, strangely one of those feeling were, If David hadn't got her pregnant, they probably would have broken up because Michelle has feelings for somebody else.
