It's been almost half a day now and he's still not here. I think he just won't come. He did post an Instagram post with: On my way.

He probably meant something else by that. I get it, who wants to help a boy who lives on the street and is bi? Correct. No one!

I've been sitting by the water all day waiting for Harry. Which is pointless. But what else can I do? I have nothing.

That crush is starting to grow more and more, since we texted. I'm still in shock about that. Because he's famous and the fact that he catches my eye is insane.

Anyway, I also met a small dog. He was very thin and looked very sick. He probably lives on the street just like me. He comes to see me almost every day. It's a cute dog. I call her Darcy. It's not mine, but I'll name it anyway.

I want to stand up and walk away, until I feel a hand on my shoulder. I sit still, frozen. But after a minute I'll turn around slowly.

No wait, this isn't possible.

He's here.

Harry is here.

"Louis," he says softly.

"I didn't expect you to actually come," I say in disbelief.

"Of course I came." He stops talking for a moment and looks at me. "You really need food, you are way too skinny. I also brought you clean clothes."

Me? Skinny?

He hands me a bag. Slowly I open the bag. It contains all kinds of fruit, bread, drinks and clothes.

I quickly close the bag and hand it back. "I can't take this from you, Harry," I say.

"You're going to take it. I don't need it, but you do. When was the last time you even ate?" he asks as he sits down next to me.

"Every Saturday. I pick up a small piece of bread at that house over there. Remember?" I say, pointing at the house on the other side of the lake.

He looks at me with concern "Louis, that's really not good. You can't live a whole week on one piece of bread! Please take it. I don't need it anyway," he says sternly.

I sigh loudly. Still, I take the bag from him again. I carefully take out the buns. I open the package and slowly take one out. I put the sandwich in my mouth and close my eyes. Only now do I realize how hungry I've been.

I quickly eat the sandwich.

I unwrap another sandwich when I finished the first one and hand one to Harry as well.

"Louis, it's all for you. You need it more than I do." he says again.

I roll my eyes at him. "Just eat it. I gave it to you and it wouldn't be kind of you to not take it. And I get the idea you're that kind of guy that is always the polite one. So take it and shut up."

"Sassy" he chuckles.

I give him one look and then return to my sandwich.

It's been a while now and Harry is still there. I had put on the new clothes Harry had got me. They're really nice and warm, it's a big hoodie with sweatpants.

We talked the whole time, I had so much fun. (Still have) Which I haven't had in a long time.

But when he asks a question I'm not expecting, my mood turns to sadness.

"May I ask you why you ended up here? I know the cause of it, but how did it happen?" he asks gently.

I swallow and don't look him in the eye.

"Sorry, I shouldn't have asked," he says quickly.

The breath that I had been holding leaves my mouth again. "It doesn't matter. It's just still hard to talk about it. Maybe someday I'll tell you. If I ever see you again," I say, hoping I ever see him again.

"Of course! I really enjoyed meeting you. So I will definitely come see you more often," he says, smiling up at me.

I also get a smile on my face.

"I really have to go now. We'll have a meeting with management soon," he says, making me sigh inaudibly.

"I liked talking to you.

"Yeah, me too."

He walks up to me and gives me a short hug, which sends butterflies spinning in my stomach.

When he lets go he turns around to walk away.

"Oh Harry?"

"Yeah?" he says, turning around a little.

"Thank you for everything." I say shyly.

"No problem. You really needed all of it. he says and looks up at me.

After staring at each other for a minute he slowly walks away from my sight.

Harry really wanted to take him with him, because he can't imagine seeing Louis sleeping on a piece of cardboard under a bridge. But Louis had declined his offer, he didn't want any more help.

His mother had said it hadn't been a good idea. "You barely know him," she'd said.

Harry understood his mother, but then again he didn't. Why shouldn't he help a boy by taking care of him? Yes, he has to live with me, but what's the big deal?

He walks home, thinking about his day with Louis.
