Time for a confession.

Tolkien Black was many things. He was intelligent, polite, and a true gentleman. He was captain of the Football Team, and was on his way to successfully being accepted into an Ivy League School. He was indisputably handsome, with bright, perfect teeth, and twinkling, almost black eyes. He'd had many girls wrapped around his pinky finger over his High School life, but not one of them compared to Nichole Daniels. Of course, despite his disdain at the fact it was essentially Cartman's doing that the two of them first began to date in the 4th Grade, he was certain that, even without his meddling, Tolkien would have inevitably fallen for her regardless.

Nichole wasn't extremely unique nor special, in the typical way that teenage boys would look at things. She was beautiful, but so were many other girls at his school. She was smart, but others were smarter. However, Nichole had a quality that made her outshine all the other girls; she was exceptionally kind. It seemed like her generosity and supportiveness knew no bounds, and her smile could've launched ships to war in olden times. She was pure, exuberant goodness in every sense of the word. She was a goddess, in Tolkien's eyes. Yet, despite all this, he dimmed her light by doing the thing she hated the most - disrespected on of her closest friends.

Tolkien knew that letting Clyde and Craig go to Kevin Stoley's party was a bad idea. Clyde would inevitably make a fool of himself; beg for Bebe's forgiveness whilst wailing like a toddler who'd dropped his newly bought ice cream. Bebe would surely shoot him down; her fiery, stubborn persona chastising him for not only embarrassing himself and her, but for showing his face in front of (Y/N). Craig was even more of a risky character. When it came to (Y/N), Craig didn't act rationally. He usually had an extremely uncaring, disinterested demeanour, but with (Y/N), he became flustered - impulsive even. He acted before he could think things through, and, now being as drunk as he was, he knew Craig wasn't going to behave as he should.

The problem, however, was that Tolkien wanted so, so badly to speak to Nichole. The last time they'd spoken was over text, where Nichole had asked for space. Tolkien had respected her wishes, let her have her space, but he couldn't help but check his phone constantly in hopes of seeing her name flash across the screen. He searched the halls for her face, and when he saw her, he prayed she'd turn and catch his gaze. He missed her too much not to try and see her, and although he thought Clyde was a grade-A dumbass, he couldn't help but admit that he too wanted to try and get his girlfriend back. Suddenly, he was snapped out of his thoughts by a rather curt tone of voice.

"Uh... why are you guys here?" Jason White asked, having opened the door after their incessant knocking. Jason peered down at the four boys, eyeing them cautiously as he spotted an almost empty whisky bottle swaying in Craig's hand.

"Yo, Jason. Where's Kevin?" Kenny asked, tipsily. He wasn't nearly as drunk as Clyde and Craig were, but he also wasn't sober enough to realise the tension between them and Jason. Tolkien clocked it immediately, feeling a cold, harsh wave of nerves creep over him.

"Dude, only you were invited. Not the rest of them." Jason whispered, although loud enough for the rest to hear. Kenny shrugged, and began to push past.

"C'mon dude, we won't cause any trouble, now where's Stoley?" Clyde asked, pushing behind Kenny and leading the rest into the house. Jason stood by, unsure of what to do. He was sure Kevin was probably unconscious somewhere, or puking his guts out, and would be unable to say or do anything to stop the group of boys from entering his home. Jason sighed, knowing that nothing good could come of this, but he also had no choice - he certainly didn't want to provoke four, drunk Football Team members without any back up.

"I'm sorry about this, man." Tolkien said, apologetically patting Jason on his shoulder. Jason gave him a wry look.

"Just... don't let them cause any trouble. You're not supposed to be here. Go home as soon as possible." Tolkien nodded, before following his friends.
