I wake up to my alarm clock at 5 o'clock am. I turn it off and roll out of bed. I walk to my closet and get out my pink english breeches and white with pink piping polo shirt. I grabbed my pink riding socks and left my room.

I knocked on Ty's door and said "Rise and shine, sunshine!!" And then walked downstairs.

I toasted a bagel in the toaster and spread cream cheese on it and poured myself a glass of apple juice. I sat the island and looked at the time 5:45. I had 15 minutes, and Ty still wasn't downstairs. I check my phone and wrote my mom a note letting her know I was going to do barn chores. I toasted another bagel for Ty, figuring he would be running down the stairs at the last minute. I wrapped the bagel in a paper towel and grabbed a water bottle for him too. Can't let the poor boy starve his first day of work, I thought in my head sarcastically. I went in the mud room and I pulled on my tall boots. As I was walking out side Ty came running towards me.

"Sorry, I over slept." He said running out of breath.

"Yeah ya did, I even knocked on your door " I said sarcastically.

He rolled his eyes and started eating his bagel. We made it to the barn and I told Ty to stay out while I get the horses. I walk to the fields and whistle and Denver comes cantering up to the fence to greet me.

"Good morning handsome." I say as I feed him a treat.

I hop on his back and whistle, "Come on every one time for breakfast!"

And the rest of the horses come following behind us. We made it back to the barn and all the horses go to there stalls and I hop off Denver and let him go to his stall. Ty stands there watching all the horses and my on Denver . I shut all the horses stall doors and then lead Ty to the feed room.

"So this the feed room, we have all are grains. Senior, adult, foal, weight management... Etc." Ty looking confused but nods his head in agreement.

I grab the grain cart and take the buckets. Each horse has there names on there buckets and I scoop each horse the kind of grain and supplements if they need it.

"So, you saw me scoop every thing and there is also this white board with what each horse gets." I say to Ty.

 "Okay." He says and nods.

We walk down the aisles of the barn and clip each bucket to the hook in the horses stalls. We walk back to the feed room, put everything away and clean up.

"So that's the morning grain routine and all the hay is in the hay loft and I set it out the night before by there holes to just throw it in. Okay?"

"Yep got it." Ty says looking super confused.

"You'll get the hang of it on a few days." I stated.

After we finished haying and watering the horses and clean up a bit, I said "Now time to learn how to clean a stall." I say very very sarcastically.
