----------Ty's arrival---------
A cab pulls down our gravel drive way and parks by the house. The driver stepped out of the car and opened the door. Ty stepped out and looked around. I looked at him, dark brown hair with caramel brown high lights from the sun and hazel green eyes. He was about 5'10 and had light tan skin. He had a large duffle bag slung over his shoulder and started walking my way.
He stood there looking at me funny for a minute and said "Hey, I'm Ty."
"Hi, I'm Lizzie."
We both look at each other for minute..
"Do you want me to show you were your room is?" I say as kindly as possible.
"Sure." He say in a somewhat husky voice.
I walk into the house and my mom greets him with a smile and carries on with her cooking. I lead him upstairs to the last bedroom on the right, across from my room. I open the door to the room and walked in. He sat his bag down on the bed, sat down and looked around.
"You can do the room the way you want. My Mom said you could."
"No it's ok, I like the way it is."
I walked out of the room, "When your ready meet me down stairs so I can show you around!"
I make my way down stairs to the kitchen where my mom made lunch for us. I grab a water bottle from the fridge and grab a paper plate and grab a turkey sandwich she made and fruit salad. I sit at the island and start eating. As I finish my food Ty comes down stairs.
"Want any lunch before we head out?"
He shakes is head yes and I put a sandwich on a plate for him and walk out side. He follows while eating the sandwich.
"So we wake up and 6:00 am every morning to bring the horses in and feed and get the day going." I state.
He gives me a bewildered look and rolls his eyes. I walk into the barn and all the horses stick there heads out of there stalls.
"This the barn were all of our horses are kept. We have 12 stalls and we also train horses and help horses too."
He walks over to Denver's stall and says "Who is this horse?"
"That's my horse Denver, I got him when he was a yearling 6 years ago."
Ty asks "Did you train him and everything?"
"Yes, I did. When I was 10 we bought him from a farmer down the road who didn't want him. He had trust issues and health problems, but that made me want him even more." I said in a calm even voice.
We leave Denver's stall and finish walking through the barn and I show him the fields and round pen and arenas. By the time we are done it's 6:00 o'clock at night. I show Ty how to feed and water the horses. We finished are choirs for the night and head to the house. My mom made us baked chicken and vegetables for dinner.
"How was everything today?" My mom asks.
"It was good, I think Ty has learned almost everything, except for riding."
I look at Ty with a questioned look on my face and take another bit of my chicken.
"So are you going to learn to ride?" I ask him.
"Um, sure?" He said in a odd tone of voice. I gave him a smile after he said that.
After we finish dinner we clean up and put everything away.
"I'm going to take a shower and head to bed. Ty there are towels in the hall closet and you have a bathroom in your room." I say before heading up stairs.
As I make my way up stairs I state " See ya at 6:00 o'clock tomorrow morning sunshine! Be ready for some hard work!!" I yelled and then took a shower and went went to bed.
