Hope

The moments we spent before

Started to mean much more

I want to tell you how I feel

But I must wait and stand still

The conversations we have are real

We say what we want to say

We feel what we are supposed to feel

I hope we stay this way

I hope we stay true

To who we really are

I'll still be me

And you'll still be you

I hope someday we would be closer

I hope someday we could walk together

I hope you'll be my forever

I hope we are meant for each other

After I say what I want to say

Something good during quarantine

Everything came tumbling down

Because of that stupid virus with a crown

I have gotten the flu

Not because of the COVID 19 virus we all knew

Nor was it from the vaccine I took

It is because of you

I can't get you out of my mind

I can see that you are kind

You reply to my texts on messenger

That makes me all the happier

When this pandemic is all over and gone

Let's go out with our friends and have fun
