Pag-asa is Life

Give Up

Problems, problems, problems

There are so many of them

They will come our way

And happiness will not always stay

There are problems that can be

Solved as easy as one two three

But there are those that will linger

Even if there are solutions and answers

Our self is our friend

It is our strength and defender

But it is also our worst enemy

In times of doubt, despair, and frailty

When all has been done

And happiness refuses to come

Put everything to a halt and stop

It is time to give up

Give up on thinking

Give up on trying

Do nothing

It will solve everything

The Sun

The bright light that sits at the source

Illuminates the world through its great force

It gives color, heat, and light

It helps all the living things to thrive

What a sight to see

Everything that the sun touches becomes a beauty

There is only one thing out of the ordinary

The man that can't smile and feels sad and gloomy

For him, the sun is just there

When he looks at the things around him

There is no appreciation nor happiness to be felt

The sun is just an ordinary thing

But one day, the man will say

Someday, I will appreciate the sun's warmth and beauty

One day, I will be happy

Because the sun is here to stay

Bakit Ganito

Bakit ganito ang buhay?

Mas marami ang panahong tayo'y naghihirap at nalulumbay

Kaysa sa mga sandalling natatamasa natin ang sarap at tagumpay

Bakit nga ba ganito?

Ang turo sa atin noong tayo ay bata pa

Ang buhay ay makulay at masaya

Pero habang nagkakaedad at tumatanda

Nalalaman nating ito ay malayo sa katotohanan

Habang lumalawak ang ating pananaw sa iba't ibang bagay

Dahan dahan din tayong tumatalino at humuhusay

Unti unti ring binabalot ng pagdududa, takot, at hinanakit

Sa mga bagay na di natin kayang gawin

Sa mga bagay na sadyang hindi makamit

Kahit ano ang pilit ay wala pa rin
