Ep 14: The First Day! Part 1

Entering the tournament, Taiga stood center stage with a smile watching as bladers filtered in constantly through the entrance ready for the tournament to start. The sun beat in through the windows, casting a warm glow on the bladers gathered for the long-awaited tournament. Taiga made sure to straighten up as he got into his opening speech.

"Welcome, everyone, to the most anticipated and one in a lifetime event in the blading world!" Taiga declared with a confident smile. "While many challenges lie ahead for our young bladers, this tournament will not only determine who deserves the title of a Legend but also the World Champion!" The crowd cheered and roared in response to this yelling crazy with excitement.

"Now then, Ladies and Gentlemen, bladers across the globe it is my honor to stand before you today and kick off our newest one in a lifetime World Championship Tournament. After the unforeseen challenges of the previous year, we have taken measures to ensure this tournament will be fair, allowing all participants to showcase their true skills and potential."

Without further ado, let me introduce the incredible bladers who will be competing for the title of World Champion! Starting from the current world rankings from the bottom to the top, here they are, each one a force to be reckoned with!"

At this point Taiga announced each and every participating member of the tournament starting with Fubuki and Lain but adding a little flair to their introductions like with Delta and Aiger he mentioned their nicknames: The Scarlet Supernova and The Demon Blader. Rantaro fawned over his fans causing some girls in the crowd to scream but Rantaro wasn't the only girl magnet for when Free and Lui were called some reacted pleasantly including Zac. Drum of course looked nervous, red faced and sweating. Lui crossed his arms smiling while Free looked bored to be there. Then with Shu he confidently stepped up, serious and held up his bey with a smile earning him a cheer from his fangirls and most of the room.

"Now then time for the main show, our Legend of Legends, the owner of the World's Fastest Bey, The World Champion: Valt Aoi!" The room roared for Valt as the light shone down on him earning him a few looks from his peers.

Walking over to him, the referee took his belt, giving it to Taiga who held it up in the air, striking a smile and reaction of applause from the audience.

"Our first stage for this grand event will be one on one battles for the next three days," As he announced this the TV changed their photos dividing them up into groups A and B. Group A consisted of: Valt, Lain, Lui, Free, Shu Toko, Fubuki, Silas, Wakiya. While Group B housed: Diago, Aiger, Rantaro, Drum, Gwyn, Delta, Xander, Zac.

"Now each battle will be between those in their respective groups until the top contenders come out of these groups and face off in the semi finals. For these battles there will be three rounds or in this case chances to earn bey stars. Those with the most points will automatically be in the semi finals."

The TV's changed again to show bladers with stars by their names changing until Taiga continued talking.

Turning to look at Shu, Valt smiled. Shu noticed and smiled back, making Valt happy that they were doing this together.

"For each day within each group there will be four battles per day with extra bladers sitting out. Now these battles will happen with two in the morning, one before and after lunch while the other two will be late afternoon and late at night." At the mention of this some bladers perked up including Valt and Shu.

"Everyone will have a night and day battle at least once. Now one last thing: There will be some surprises along the way." At the mention of this Valt noticed Lui perking up with a smile as if he knew what it was that they didn't.
