"tara!" amber called out as the smaller girl left her in shambles. amber adverts her eyes lower and sees the sad sack of life known as wes beginning to wake up from his knockout.

she travels over to him and straddles him. she begins to unleash her anger and rage on him by beating him bloody. he screamed and screamed for help but the music was so loud and no one ever went upstairs because amber forbade it in her house parties. she stopped when she couldn't recognize his face anymore between all the bruises and blood. amber looks down at him in pity.

"this is what you deserve. now you are going to go tell them that nothing happened up here and you just got beat up on the street. i helped you through by sneaking you into my window and we went downstairs so you could clean yourself up. okay?" she said to the bloody boy beneath her. he shook his head the best he could. "and dont even plan on telling your mother or else ill have to tell her what you did to poor sensitive tara the night she left you home alone." wes eyes widen at her statement "and we dont want that do we wes?" wes shakes his head no and amber smiles.

"okay come on buddy." she said before lifting the pathetic beaten boy up and out of her room locking th door behind them as they went downstairs. "you are on you own. and remember what i know before you do anything that could hurt me." she says staring at him before he was released. she walked over to were her friends stayed with tara. "hey guys my bad im so late to my own party" she laughs and they dont.

tara stares at her "they know." amber messages her temple at the remark. she looks at tara "did you tell them everything or just what i did?" as she says that tara looks down at her feet. ambers eyes widen. "oh, so you just made me look irrational and crazy by only giving one half of the story." amber crossed her arms looked around at the others and all of them gave confusing looks. "tara, you have to tell them." amber says and tara looks up at her.

"you tell them and take them up to your room when you say it." she says avoiding eye contact. amber nods and leads liv, mindy, chad, ethan, and anika up the stairs and into her room. they sit down on the bed and amber clears her throat. "tara come to me while it was raining 2 hours ish before my party even started. she was crying, i let her in and asked her what happened. she told me—she told me wes raped her." amber said chad stood up and balled his fists mindy tried to sit him down but chad grew soft all of a sudden he opened his mouth to speak.

"isnt tara alone down there?" chad asks "yea?" amber says in a confused tone "isnt—wes down there with her?" he asks. amber fixed her posture and ran down the stairs with chad and sees tara trying to avoid wes that was now kissing her neck from behind her.

chad rushed ahead and tackled him to the ground punching him as mindy who just arived tried to pull him off with ethan and anikas help aswell. chad created more blood and more bruises by his swinging but eventually the three managed to pull him off of wes. while all this was happening amber stood by a crying tara and offered as much as she could give her.

tara would not stop screaming at her. "GET AWAY YOU HURT MY BABY!" she cried. amber looked confused "YOUR BABY RAPED YOU TARA! DONT BE SO STUPID!" amber yelled back at the girl and at this point people started recording chad and caught us in the background yelling at eachother. soon it reached the principal and we all who participated in the fight got suspended.

so me, chad, mindy, anika, and ethan got suspended while liv and tara stayed in school. our first day of suspension was filled with shots and cheering mostly because we beat wes up and oartly because his mother disowned him after she found out he had put a girl through her deepest fear. the rest of our three days were spend bonding over our suspension.

when we arrived back at school we immediately spotted wes by tara and almost lost it before tara put her hand out. "ive decided to forgive him." everyones head tilted in confusion and their face showed concern. she clears her throat "its not a big deal. dont make it out to be some crazy thing." she said looking down. "i can not sit here and ruin a mans life" she says. "you can not or you will not?" amber says looking at her and then him.

"amber just because i came to you does not mean we are anything other then people who share similar friends. you have no right to protect me because i do not know you." she says loud and the group just stands there and listens defending no one and staying out of it. "tara, look im—" amber started but was rudely interrupted.

"amber stop, just stop. you acted like a kid." tara said with two fingers on her temple. "i miss who we were. damnit tara i haven't gotten to protect you in like three years! three god damn years. why cant we go back! id do anything to reverse what i said that day." amber said as tears swelled in here beautiful hazel eyes. taras posture softened for a moment.

"you meant everything you said about me amber freeman." tara said looking up at her. "i swear i didnt, i—i meant none of it! i was just jealous. okay? we shouldn't have turned into this." amber says grabbing her hand. tara looked down at it she hesitated before grabbing it and hugging her. "babe you can't seriously believe her." wes scoffed everyone looked at him and he put his hands up "i take back my previous statement." wes said sweating a little at the sight of chad.

chad steps up closer to him. "beat it, dont ever come back to us under any circumstances. she may have forgiven you but we havent. leave before i get suspended again." chad said cracking his neck and his fingers. wes backed up and left us alone. amber embraced the hug spining her in the air.

"i really missed you carpenter."

"not more than me freeman."
