the next day amber woke up to her alarm and started to get dressed. she had a massive headache and morning sickness from the prior night. she drank the rest od the weekend. after she reluctantly drove to school and stepped out of her car she saw her friends. she frowned when her eyes hit tara, and she looked down as her eyes met mindy's for the slightest second.

she avoided her friends and dashed into the girls bathroom, choosing a random stall and hiding in it as tears hit the floor. "how can i be so stupid?" she cried. a minute later she heard the bathroom door open and close. she sniffles as she wipes her tears and hides her red face as much as she can as she exits the stall and meets taras eyes. her eyebrows furrowed as she tilted her head. tara stayed silent before she noticed ambers eyes filling with tears.

"im sorry tara i was- drunk and i didnt-" amber tried to say with tears flowing down her face. she was cut off by tara leaning in and kissing her slowly, yet passionately. when their lips disconnected tara finally spoke. "i know. i should've never had this with you." tara said backing away from the taller girls face and steping back. amber reached for the girls hand. "no, please i can explain last night! i swear tara, please dont leave me." amber sobbed as she fell to her knees.

tara looked down at her as tears of her own slipped out. "i—i was drunk i didnt mean it.." amber said with a sob like tone. tara closed her eyes and shook her off leaving out of the door she entered in. amber faced the floor crying before she slowly stood up and looked at how messy she was through the fucked up bathroom mirror. she wiped her tears and tried to manage her uneven breathing.

amber ended up skipping first period, she couldn't bear seeing tara in there. she grabbed a pair of sunglasses and wore them as she got through her class periods. liv, and some others asked if she was okay that morning. she laughed at them and accused them of always assuming the worse. they stopped asking eventually and she was thankful her strategy payed off.

when she went out to her car she saw samantha and quinn leaning on her car. she took a deep breath groaning as she approached her car. the two stood there looking at the girl. "yes? come on man ive had a rough day today please i dont want any trouble." amber said trying to open the door. sam stopped her by grabbing the girls shirt and pinning her against the car.

"sam if your gonna hit me go ahead. what else do i have to lose?" amber said defeated, letting sam pin her with no struggle. sam made a confused face when she ripped the girls glasses off. she snickered at the helpless girl beneath her.

"so..jill roberts is nothing to you anymore?" sam said as her face turned serious. "i pushed her away if thats what you're asking. yea she took me home and made a move, but i kicked her out." amber said taking her glasses back and returning them to her face to cover up her still kinda red eyes.

"listen, if you want that druggie back in your life then go ahead but stay away from tara." sam said as quinn pulled her back and they went to their car as they waited for tara as if nothing happened. amber sighed as she opened her car door and entered ultimately driving home with a shattered heart and ego.

she picked up her phone and tried to text tara, apologizing yet again. her message didnt even go through, she cried a little more once she realized she was blocked. she threw her phone on the ground cracking it as she yelled and it echoed through her empty house.
