A Nightmare

Buttercups clutched, daisies withered away,
A strong wind blew, bringing an ominous display.
Thoughts were judged, an odd and strange sensation,
As the pond stood still, minds filled with anticipation.

Yet the wind didn't whisk away the pain,
The waves dried, heavens cried, all in vain.
For she was shattered by him, a heart left broken,
A tale of love's betrayal, words left unspoken.

The once vibrant flowers now pale and frail,
A storm of emotions, a tempestuous gale.
In the stillness of the pond, her spirit trembled,
As the heavens wept, her sorrow assembled.

But amidst the wreckage, she'll rise anew,
Gather the broken pieces, find strength to pursue.
For a shattered heart can mend, scars will fade,
And she'll emerge stronger, from the darkness unswayed.
