Over the course of the next three weeks Neteyams health improves and he got moved in a different room out of the ICU. He’s still recovering but the second he felt up to it he starts catching up on the missed school work.
He is currently getting visited by Lo’ak ” And then ’Reya told us about how often her brother got mistaken as her when they were Kids”, he catches his older brother up at what’s been going on in School today “Sounds funny”. “You seem tired, bro just continue tomorrow you know the teachers don’t care if you get it done, they know you are still recovering and also these are past tasks”. He groans looking up from his notebook” I’m nearly done, I got this and I need to, I’ve missed to much already”. Lo’ak can’t believe it and snatches the Notebook and books, throwing them in Neteyams bag, which they collect his school stuff in” No you are going to rest now I’ll take this with me”. “Lo’ak it’s fine”. “Stop saying that! Please just rest so you can get out her fast. You shouldn’t have been stuck her in the first place!”. Neteyam groans und gives up on debating with his little brother “Ok… I’ll rest, no more School work today”. Satisfied with that Lo’ak smiles at him. He checks his phone” I guess I gotta go now”. He heads out and Neteyam falls asleep pretty fast, later on he gets checked over again.

Lo’ak sighs as he walks along the beach with Tsireya after he got home “How’s your brother doing?” “He’s getting better, but instead of resting he keeps working on the missed school stuff”. “Oh, well don’t let mom notice or he’s gonna get an ear full about not resting”. Lo’ak chuckles.

” Come on Rotxo!”, they can hear Ao’nung yell for his best friend, who is more like a brother, said boy runs over to his friend with his surfboard in hand” I’m coming!”. They see them get into the water and out towards the waves.

Tsireyas smile fades a little as she spots bruises on Rotxos arms” What is it?”, Lo’ak asks concerned “He got hurt”. “Hm! Maybe he fell or something”. “Maybe”. They keep walking and get to the spot where Rotxo und Ao’nung left their stuff and just sit down watching them surf” Have you tried surfing?”.” No I have not”.” I can teach you if you want”. He hesitates “Um… sure, I’ll give it a try”, “Great!”, her eyes light up, she is excited to teach lock to surf” We can start tomorrow!”. “OK”.

They stay a bit longer before heading home again. Tsireya sighs and helps her mother with dinner, Ronal notices the worried look on her daughter’s face” Did something happen?”.” … Rotxo got new bruises…”. Ronal nods, the boy just got transferred into a new foster family which makes all of the Paora family worry about him “Did he say anything about it?” “No, he didn’t, maybe I’m just overprotective with my thoughts and he just fell or bumped his arms on something”. Ronald nods again, making a mental note to keep a closer eye on that boy when he’s here. Dinner at the Sully house is a bit chaotic again, Tuk managed to spill the whole bottle of apple juice over the table and they all are cleaning it up “Tuk please be more careful next time or ask someone to help” Neytiri tells her and the little one nods. Lo’ak’s thought drift over tor Rotxo again” Hey Kiri did Rotxo tell you anything about something going on in his family, well rather how he’s doing with the new family?”. “No why?”.” Just curious”. Kiri looks at him confused but just shrugs.

The next day in school Lo’ak and Kiri are the first to notice that Rotxo is not looking to good, Tsireya and Ao’nung worry as well.
“Hey Ro what’s wrong? You don’t look so good”. Kiri asks in their shared English class” I’m feeling a bit under the weather that’s it”.” You know you can tell me if something is going on right” The boy nods and tries to pay attention to class

” Oh, oh so we were in class and our teacher just tripped over a chair und fell”, Lo’ak tells the others, Ao’nung doesn’t bother to join them and sits with his friends.” Guys, shh”, Kirk points at Rotxo who is sleeping with his head rested on his arms. They share a worried look, Tsireya gently wakes him up” Hey what’s going on with you?” “mh… just tired, didn’t get much sleep”. “Why don’t you go home and rest then?”. He is quiet for a bit rubbing his eyes” Yeah… I guess I’ll do that, see you guys tomorrow”. They say goodbye and he heads off. “Ok something is definitely wrong with him!”, Tsireya states” He’s not the type of person to just come to school when he’s not feeling well, he stays at home, the bruises don’t add up either, he never gets hurt that much”. Lo’ak rubs her arm as comfort” He would tells us if something isn’t right, right?” ‘Reya nods” He doesn’t really keeps secrets from me und my brother and especially not from my mom”. They finish lunch and head to their clubs, Lo’ak is off to basketball while the girls take off to swim. Kiri is already making an amazing progress at catching up on the others skill level. Lo’ak as well doesn’t have a problem with playing on the new team, his coach is satisfied with his playing.

” Hi mom, hi dad”, he greats his parents “Hello Mr. & Mrs. Sully”. Tsireya waves at them with her typical smile, Lo’ak gets changed inter his swim trunks and a t-shirt” We gonna go out see ya”. They head over to Tsireyas house so she can get changed aswell and grab her and a spare surf board for him. “Uh… dad I couldn’t find the spare board where did you put it?”.”Give me a sec and I’ll get it”, Tonowari pats her head and gets the board and hands it to Lo’ak ” Also didn’t Rotxo want to come over again?”. She sighs” He left school early, he was really tired and not feeling well so I don’t think he’s coming”. Tonowari nods “Oh well you two go have fun”. The two teens head out and get into the water “Ok lets get started”, She had taken of her long flowy dress to reveal a two-piece wet suit, they sit on their boards as Tsireya explains him the things he needs to know.

”OK let’s try and stand on the board first”. He nods and tries to do it the way she had done it, the board wobbles and he falls into the water causing Tsireya to chuckle” come on try again”. It takes him many tries to finally be able to hold his balance while standing on the board.” Yes! I got it”, he cheers and then falls of again, they both laugh as he resurfaces.
“Ok lets get you started on some small waves”. She demonstrates him how to do it, he looks at her impressed und then tries it himself, wiping out a lot more than before.

They hear someone laugh and look around to spot Ao’nung ” What a rookie”. He gets to the bigger waves and shows off his skills. “What a show off”, Tsireya mutters” I totally agree, he’s an ass”. “Oh no need to be that rude, now hop try again”. They keep with their lesson well into the evening OK, I think that’s enough for today”, She smiles at him, he smiles back at her as he nods, they get back to shore to gather their things. Lo’ak drops Tsireya off and heads home, where he falls asleep pretty early.
