During the drive the closer they get the more nervous Neteyam becomes, Ao'nung takes his hand in his squeezing it to somewhat ground him. He practically zoned out as his mom went over everything with the staff, Ao'nung being the comforting presence he needed right now, gripping his hand tighter as if now reality is kicking in. "Tey?" Ao'nung asks gently as he noticed the anxiety skyrocket in his boyfriend, placing both his hands on his shoulder "what's going on in that pretty head of yours?". Neteyams eyes dart around his new room for time being before looking at Ao'nung with tears in his eyes "d-dont leave me here. ....what if it doesnt work.....what if this place changes me .....what if you decide that you made a mistake calling me your boyfriend and leaves me ?" His voice breaks as all his worries surface.
Ao'nung pulls him close "Neteyam you made this step....maybe it’ll take longer ....maybe it works maybe it works for a short time....then not...but thats ok ...you get to try again if this first time doesnt work you try again baby, its ok. And im proud to call you my boyfriend no matter what, mentally fucked up or not you're my Neteyam and im not giving you up " that gets him a short lottle smile from Neteyam and he wipes the tears away from his cheeks "im not gonna lie but the first weeks will be hard....taking time to adjust to this, schedule and all....there will be things you wont like at all but you can do this ok....you're brave, you're strong. And I'll wait for your first call ok but for now focus on you " Ao'nung says placing a kiss on Neteyams forehead.

Next is Neytiri saying goodbye to Neteyam repeating similar words as Ao'nung but with her own twist "you can do this baby, we all will be waiting for a letter or a call once you get there but the focus is on you....ne yourself please find out who you truly are I love you ". "I love you too mom " they hug one last time before Neytiri and Ao'nung are asked to leave.

Now alone in the room Neteyam tries to calm his mind by unpacking his remaining stuff, his mom had put his clothes in the closet while he and Ao'nung had talked. He takes out some pictures some of him and Ao'nung some of their friend group all together, pictures with Tuk, when he grabs into the bag again he pulls out one of tuks favourite plushies a small pink turtle it had a small card hanging from a cord around it he opens it and looks at the childish drawing his sister did of the two of  them, it reads " i hope u get better soon....may shelly protect you !" Written in colourful letters "Oh Tuk..." he smiles with teary eyes and takes one more photo of his set up before a nurse comes in to explain the routine, rules and get ahold of his devices and then takes him on a tour of the building.

While Neteyam slowly settles in Neytiri and Ao'nung are on the drive back home. Ao'nung looking out the window quietly, Neytiri noticed it " you're missing him already aren't you?" . He nods, she smiles softly " me too....but just as you and your mother said.....its probably for the best......he needs this...." she says the last part more to herself than him. Ao'nung can see this gnawing on her....he'd seen it with his own mother when they brought Tsireya here " Misses Sully.....you dont have to blame yourself......" he noticed how her grip on the steering wheel tightens and her voice comes out a little shaken " i noticed and I did nothing when Jake put that pressure on him.....I....dont want to excuse his actions but I....I thought it was him just being overwhelmed and protective with everything that had happened but now.....I see that I was wrong....Jake needs to realise his mistakes.....I know that ....I need to ow up to mine but for now we have to keep Neteyam for himself.....let him be him.....let him get better without constant pressure.....". " You're doing it right.....just know my mom is there if you need to talk.....or if you need someone to smack some sense into Mr. Sullys brain " . That last bjt makes her laugh a bit " youre a good kid. Im glad Neteyam found you and stop calling us Mrs and Mr Sully i thought we dropped those formalities a while ago , just Neytiri and Jake ". Ao'nung nods
The drive remains uneventful, neytiri drops him off at his house before entering hers just in time for dinner. She sits down next to loak at the table ruffling her second sons hair " its gonna be hard but he'll be ok " she reasures him.
