Ronal and Rotxo head off to the hospital, Ao´nung joins Lo’ak and Tsireya with surfing. Neteyam and Neytiri take Tuk out to a local playground near her school. At the hospital Ronal leads Rotxo to the room his grandmother is in.” Hello Ms. Geljo, I brought Rotxo just like I promised”, Ronal says with a smile while entering the room, Rotxo sits down next to her bed, his grandma smiles at him.” I’ll be right outside if you need anything”, Ronal leaves.
Rotxo looks at the cast on her arm “How are you doing?”. “I’m alright dear, it’s taken care of so don’t worry. How are you? What about your friends?”. He smiles auch then climbs inter the bed and cuddles up on her side, it’s something he always does when she is being treated here. “I’m sorry I didn´t visit in a while a lot happened. Ao´nung and Tsireya are doing alright and are excited about the baby”. Riya looks at him confused “what baby?” “Ronal, Dr. Paora is pregnant again, she’s already 5 months along”. “Ah…right I remember, that’s good. What else is there?”.” We made new friends, they had to leave their old home and moved in close to the Paoras”, so he tells her about the Sullys slowly so she can follow what he says more easily. He notices her messing up some infos when trying to recall what he just said.

At the end of the visiting hour Ronal collects him from the room, Riya smiles at Ronal” Look at this she’s looking just like her mother, just with short hair”. Rotxos breath hitches at those words, Ronal sits at the edge of the bed” Mrs. Geljo, Rotxo is a boy now not the little girl you remember”. This has been happening a lot recently, she would forget about things completely out of nowhere even when they’ve been like that for years, just like now Riya knows that he is trans and allways addresses him right but then she sees that little girl she took care of before he went into foster care. “Oh what did the Pines say to that?”. The Pines where the first foster family he stayed in and weren´t to happy with him coming out. Ronal looks art him, he just plays along with it “Th-they… are ok with this, Marni even cut my hair”.”Oh that’s sweet, I’m glad that they are taking good care of you”. He nods fighting back tears” Oh, I have to go now Marni wouldn’t like me to be gone so long…”,” That’s oh love, it was nice seeing you again”. He rushes out of the room,
Ronal follows him as fast as she can, finding him next to her car, she unlocks it and he gets in.

She gets to the passenger side and hugs him, she’s a bit out of breath from trying to keep up with him” I’m sorry… I knew it’s getting worse, but I didn’t expect it to her like this”. “It’s not your fault, I should’ve known that this was going to happen eventually“. She wipes away his tears” It is hard and I’m sorry that you have to deal with this, come how about we go and get some ice cream, I know it always cheers you up“. He smiles a little und nods. Ronal starts the car and drives to the ice-cream shop, sometimes she rubs his shoulder as comfort and after they got the ice cream she starts heading back, it’s now dose to 4 pm. “Hey do you wanna go back to our place or should I drive you home?”. He hesitates again before answering” Home….”. “Ok”. She drops him off at his home, he thanks her and heads inside. Ronal enters her home to find Ao´nung, Tsireya and Lo’ak in the living room playing Mario Kart. “Hey mom, where is Rotxo?”, Ao´nung looks at her “He went home”.

She grabs something to drink and heads to the office room she and Tonowari share, he’s on call with Jake und some other people. Tonowari looks at her, she sighs” Am I interrupting?”. “It’s fine”. She grabs some sticky notes and sits down at her desk space right next to her husband, she signs and starts writing down some things she had noticed about Rotxo, it seems overboard but she always does that when she tries to figure out what’s going on with her kiddos, plus she really wants to get Rotzo out of the foster care system. “What are you doing?”, he looks at her still being muted in the call, she takes a sip from her glass und looks at him” I know this seems crazy but I wanna get behind what’s going on with Rotxo, he’s acting weird”. “Mhm, what’s your guess so far”,” I can´t tell 100% but given the switch in his personally and clothing my guess is abuse”. Tonowari nods” How do you want to proof this?”.” I don’t know… but it’s time to finally get him out of the system”. “We’ll figure this out”. She continues writing and then goes through some work stuff.
“Hey Ronal, you were the attending on Neteyams case, right?”, One of the guys asks after Tonowari switched the sound from his headphones to the speakers, she nods looking in the camera” Yes, I was the one in charge of him on the ICU”. “Ok. Can you tells us a bit more about it”. “There´s not much to it besides the wound was indeed inflicted by getting grazed by the bullet but it was dose to actually hit und stay insteach of grazing, it was a bigger sized bullet, I can’t tell you the exact bullet but it’s one mostly used in riffles, also shouldn’t you know that given that they got arrested and you know your way around in that area”, she says towards Jahre.” We didn’t really see the guns they used and damn I tend to forget that you worked in the field as well”, Both she and Tonowari were in the Army just like Jake was but she left earlier to work in a hospital here instead of out in the field.” Also could you please send Lo´ak over”.” Will do”. She kisses Tonowaris cheek and leaves the room. “Lo´ak your dad wants you back home”, she says while entering the living room, he sighs and gets his bag, he says goodbye und heads home. At Rotxos place he got yelled at for being away so long, they didn’t care that it was because of his grandma, he looks after the little girl they have, playing and entertaining her so they don’t have to deal with her, they sure just took him in for the money they get for that. He checks his phone for some messages, mostly from Tsireya and Ao´nung.
