Out of all of the things in the world, Ashley Parker couldn't believe that she was spending her day, hiding behind a bunch of fake ferns with a pair of binoculars.

But that's exactly, how she was spending her time. When she came into work that morning, she didn't expect that she would be on Russian spy watching duty with Steve Harrington and Dustin Henderson.

To her, this plan felt relatively stupid but to the others, they though it was genius. Ever since they discovered this Russian code might of been broadcasted in their hometown, they've been on high alert about the entire situation.

And they thought the best way to deal with this panic was to find the culprit themselves and somehow get answers out of them. Not the best idea for a bunch of clueless and fairly weak teenagers but it was all they got in mind.

Ashley Parker didn't want to be sitting in these fake plants like a weirdo. She'd rather be scooping ice cream and counting change with her crush but she was forced into spy work against her will. Apparently, her being involved was the best way to keep both boys from goofing off or doing something stupid that could blow their cover.

"You see anything?" Dustin questioned, glancing over at the two teens, holding the binoculars.

"Uh, I guess I don't totally know what I'm looking for." Steve

"Evil Russians." Dustin said like it was obvious.

"Yeah, exactly. I don't know what an evil Russian looks like." Steve reminded.

"Tall, blond, not smiling." Dustin answered, only thinking about the stereotypes of that ethnic group.

"That's such a vague description. It could be anybody." Ashley pointed out in annoyance.

"Also, look for earpieces, camo, duffel bags, that sort of thing." Dustin emphasized.

"Right, okay, duffel bags." Steve nodded, shifting his position to get a better look at their surroundings. "Oh, you've gotta be kidding me."

"What?" Dustin and Ashley both looked at him with wide eyes, unsure what he was getting at.

"Anna Jacobi's talking with that meathead Mark Lewinsky." Steve announced as if the two teens knew exactly who he was talking about. They both just glared at him in response.
