I went to the library that morning, put on my headphones, listened to some music and read a book but I still kept thinking about Lydia earlier, "Why would she want to be my friend and defend me but then act like she didn't know me?"
As I was lost in thought I jumped when someone tapped my shoulder. It was the librarian, Ms.Rogers. "Hey, honey, the bell rang 10 minutes ago." She said after u took off my head phones. "Oh no I'm gonna be late! I'm sorry Ms. Rogers I have to go." I said as I packed up my stuff and quickly walked out and to my most hated class, English!
As I walked into English class the teacher, Mr.Alex, was taking attendance but luckily my name is always last because my last name is Ziely. I opened the door quietly and walked in slowly but for some reason the door closed loudly and the entire class looked at me. "What a pleasure of you to join us, Arriana." He said to me taking his glasses down a bit. "Umm Sorry Mr.Alex I got distracted in the library." I answered, only a couple steps from my seat "OK OK I don't care, take a seat." He said loudly in front of the whole class. Mr.Alex is pretty openly homophobic so I'm definitely not the favorite of the class. I tried to transfer out of his class but the office wouldn't let me.
-------Time Skip------ **RINGGG**
Finally it was lunch time and 1 step closer to the end of the day. After I got my lunch, pathetic as usual, I saw Lydia sitting alone which I thought was odd seeing as she was so popular. I decided to go talk to her. "Hi, can I sit?" I asked a little shaky but as I asked I saw her grab the little that she was eating and quickly walk away and out of the cafeteria. I hoped she was OK, but I know one of the things I hate is when someone bothers me when I just want to be alone, so I decided to eat my lunch then talk to her after.
After I ate I decided to go to the library. As I walked I saw my favorite people, the popular kids. At first I was upset because all they were doing was talking loudly but then I though I could talk to Lydia and make sure she was OK. When I looked over I didn't see her so I gathered my courage and walked up to Harrison, the head honcho of 5he popular kids, and ask where she was.
"Hey Harrison, have you seen Lydia?"
"What, no I haven't seen her, why u asking, huh freak?"
"Oh no reason, just wondering." I said as I walked away
"Haha, bet you have a crush on her freak!" Said a familiar voice behind me, and when I turned around it was James.
