I got up that morning reluctantly. I couldn't stop thinking about my dream, *"Do you like her? Does she like me back? Does she even like girls?!"* 

     The same questions repeated over and over in my mind as I brushed my hair and teeth, put on a jeans and a hoodie, ate some cereal and walked to school. I listened to Take Your Shirt Off by The Millionaires (Great song BTW I'm sorry) Which might've not been the best option considering my current state of mind. 

     I walked into school and put my headphones away only to be once again greeted with, you guessed it, my bullies.

"Hey Lesbo!" *I heard in a taunting yell from Jake.

"Hah! What is that outfit? It's like you're trying to be weird!" I heard with a snorty laugh from Olivia.

I turned around and with the lack of James to be seen, and Lydia a few feet back with a sincerely sorry look

"What do you what today Jake? With how much you talk to me one might think you're jealous that I like women." I answered with a cocky tone. He looked confused so I explained it a bit for him,

 "I mean that it might make someone think you like me but you're upset you can't date me." He looked immediately upset at this and approached me quickly. I had never gotten into a physical fight with them, besides them pushing me and knocking em down, yet but that looked like it was about to change.

"What the hell you freak!? Someone would have to be fucked int th head to want to date you!" He yelled but only loud enough for some of the people close to us in the school courtyard to look at us.

I tried to keep my cool as he pushed me back into a wall. I wanted to make another cocky remark like just saying kinky or something else annoying but I didn't and just looked at him with a blank face.

"You're just a disgustingly un-natural freak who will go to hell one day!" 

"Then I guess I'll see you there. And why are you even mad at me? Women are hot, you can't disagree with me on that." I answer as I pushed him away from me a few inches.

I could tell he was going to get pisse with me and just as he seemed to raise his arm, making me flinch and turn my head, Olivia and Lydia came over and Lydia grabbed his arm by the elbow. When I opened my eyes to see that. I felt my face warm, it was a silly thing to blush at but it still was nice to see her standing up for me. 

Jake looked confused as he dropped his arm then turned to her with the same venom in his tone, "What are you doing?" She hesitated a bit but answered with a very convincing lie.

"Do you really want to get suspended again Jake? One more time and they'll probably expell you." He seemed to grunt in acknowledgement and gave me one more glare and walked off with Olivia. Lydia stayed for just a second longer and gave me a smirk and quickly handed me a small note before running over and joining Jake and Olivia.

I opened the note as I walked to the library. It read, "Hey, I'm sorry I have to act so terrible to you. I really care about you Ari, and I want to be with you more. My parents were talking about not liking  their parents and soon enough I may be able to stop hanging out with them. Meet me under the bleachers during 4th period and we can talk more about it. XOXO Lydia, P.S. I'm now realizing I could've just texted you this but whatever lol" 

I smirked as I read the note, "She's so cute." I thought. I was happy that I might finally be able to hang out with her besides just under the bleachers but in the meantime that sounded perfect.
