A Real Issue

I knew about Mia but I didn't think Thomas and Americus would involve my sons in meeting her at some point. I am pleasant, but I don't like this one bit. The boys love Angel, she is their niece even adopted. Mia was a victim just like Americus and Thomas. I might be a bit jealous of Americus, but Thomas has assured me this is not him trying to get her back into his life, it is about bringing Mia into our lives nothing more than that. That I understand.

Americus
I make arrangements for one on one time with Mia, Thomas can arrange his own meeting with her. I can see that Caren is jealous, there is nothing to be jealous of. We were forced into having sex with each other, there was no love or feeling involved, only hate for the people who forced us to have sex. When Thomas and I look at each other we remember the hate we felt and we can't feel much but a major loss, we never discussed how we felt about what they forced us to do. We never discussed the baby until we were finally free and we both knew at 14 years old our baby needed older parents. Parents who had a stable life. I found Carrick and Grace Grey in the parents who wanted to adopt and they were a perfect fit for my baby. I doubt I could have prevented her from going through everything she went through because I wasn't assigned Seattle. We suspected there was trafficking but we didn't have the evidence to support a warrant. Susan was very clever about how she handled her her evil behavior and she was good. She got a lot of high profile people's children. She was able to grab Mia in broad daylight at an airport. We still don't know who the girl was that took her place, but they were close enough to pass for her. So no one suspected Mia had been kidnapped. We found several leads on the girl, but they weren't able to find her until we found a missing person report come across our desk as solved. The body of the girl had been discovered in a freezer in an abandoned house. A neighbor reported seeing lights on in the place and the cops found the freezer the only thing running in the house. So they got curious. This murder had Susan's name written all over it.

Thomas
After the visit with Mia and her family we make plans to meet with Mia and Angel again soon. I reassure Caren and she soon realizes her fears are unfounded. I make sure she knows that she is the only one in my heart and she will always be. Caren finally says that the boys like they have a sister and a niece. We agree to see that they get to know each other and we get to know Mia and Angel. We finally get our excited sons to bed and go to work on our next baby.

Mia
I originally felt some animosity coming from Caren and then it all stopped when she saw that there was nothing going on between my parents except living through my same nightmare. I didn't know who Bella's father was until they found his body. They took Bella's DNA and it was a match to the young boys. His parents learned about Bella and then they asked to visit her grave. I didn't know how to feel about that, but I allowed them to visit their granddaughters grave. They also found out there were more grandchildren out there both alive and dead. They are now raising their grandchildren. They had unlimited resources and used them. They have five grandchildren who are very close in age. Mom keeps in touch with them. They talk about a lot of things. I don't have much of a memory of what they did to me. They kept me drugged and I was barely fed, I am thinking a doctor was involved at one point or someone with medical experience. Especially since they were keeping us alive. I just thought of something. Something about the fact they had medical help. I mention this to my mom and dad after everyone left the house that night.

Grace
I had never thought about the idea that the victims had, to have medical care to keep them in the condition they were in. I talk to Carrick and have him find out about that aspect of the case. Now I am very curious about who else helped them and am I working alongside a criminal that helped keep my child hostage and partly responsible for the death of my granddaughter. Guess do no harm meant nothing to them. I start thinking of who might have been behind it and I can't believe where my thoughts are leading me to. Whoever it is must have been hopefully isn't doing it any longer. Carrick said that we still haven't gotten all the people who were involved in it yet. It's not surprising they had medical people helping with the hostages and their babies. We spoke about it and started thinking what all they would need and we wondered about medical suppliers possibly delivering medical supplies to the Davis home.

Detective Rogers
I get a call asking me if we happen to check into any medical supply companies delivering supplies to the Davis home. Soon we find that they indeed had medical supplies delivered to him. Someone had to order them and someone had to write an order for what was needed. So I start calling and the companies fax me the information that I need. I start looking into the possibility that the doctor is still working here in Seattle. It doesn't take long to figure out it isn't just one doctor. So now to figure out who is still working and where they are working.
