Chapter 35

Elenas Pov
I wake up the next morning in Pedri's arms. I look up at him, and I smile softly. I push a piece of hair back off his face, and he opens his eyes and smiles at me. "Morning princesa...." He said and smiled and got up. "Where you going?" He asks and sits up. "Home...." I said, and he grabbed my arm. "Elena, you don't have to leave....." He said, and I nodded. "Pedri, this is just sex okay......nothing more...." I tell him as I put my dress back on. He gets out of bed and walks over to me. "Why did you wear this then if it just sex...." He said and held the necklace in his hand. I look at him, and I sigh "Pedri I'm sorry, but I just can't trust you still.....I'm sorry...." I said and walked away.
"Please at least come to my match tonight....." He asked, and I turned around and looked at him. "I'll think about it...." I grab my bag, and I ordered an Uber and headed down to the lobby. I see my brother and Eric talking, and I tried to sneak past them, but Eric spots me and laughs. "Hi Elena!" I shoo him off and run out of the hotel before my brother can say anything.
I get an Uber back to my apartment, and I get changed into some comfy clothes. I grab my phone and head to my couch, and I just chill and watch TV.
Soon, it's time to decide if I'm going to the match or not. I decided I'm going since all my friends were playing and I wanted to support them too.
I go and change into my plain Barca Jersey. There is no way I'm giving him the satisfaction of wearing his jersey.
I brush out my hair and put on a small bit of makeup.
I grab my phone and my keys, and I get an Uber to the stadium. It's about a half hour from my house.
I arrive at the stadium and show them my pass that Pedri gave me to say I'm part of the Barcelona team. I head inside and go down the locker rooms. I see Pedri standing outside, and I walk over to him." Hey...." He looks up and smiles. "You came!" He hugged me, and I hugged him back. He goes to kiss me, but I pull back. "Pedri no..." I said, and I stand a good distance from him. He nods and sighs. "Well, I'm gonna get changed, and I see you later?" He asks, and I nod.
I start to walk away until I hear my name again. I turn around and see Joao running towards me.
"Hey Elena, long time no see." He said, and I smiled."Hey Joao, and yes, I moved to Madrid, as you can see." I chuckled, and he nodded. "How have you been?" He asked as we headed up to the family area. "I've been good and you?" He asked, and he smiled. "So I heard you're single now..." He smirks, and I laugh. "Techinally, yes, I am...." I said, and he smiled. "But it's complicated...." I chuckle, and he smiles. "Well, if you're single and I'm single, why don't we just go on a date tonight and see how it goes?" He asked, and I shrugged. "Sure, why not." I smile, and he smiled. "Great, see you later. Linda, " He said and kissed my cheek and walked off. I smile, and then I walk into the family area and go and sit with Ferran and Sira. Ferrans match isn't until tomorrow, so he's able to come to this. (Just pretend for the story)
I smile and sit down next to them. "What's got you all smiley?" Sira asks, and I look at her. "I have a date with Joao tonight." I tell her, and she spits out her drink. "Wait, what about Pedri?" She asked me, and I sighed. "There's nothing going on with us..." I tell her, and she looks at me confused. "But you've been hooking up?" She asked me confused, and I sighed. "Yes, but it's nothing more than sex.....I still can't trust him. Plus, it's just a date. Nothing might happen." I said, and she nodded.
The game started, and we all watched from the stands.
Eventually, it ended, and we won 3.1. I head down the locker room again with Sira and Ferran, and Pedri comes up to me. "So mine or yours...." He whispers, and I pull back. "Actually, neither sorry I have plans." He looks at me confused. Before I can speak, Joao comes out. "You ready?" He asked me, and I nodded. Pedri looks between us, and he rolls his eyes. "You've got to be kidding me...." He said and walked off. I just followed Joao out the door. "What's up with you two?" He asked me, and I shrugged. "He's the complication....we aren't back together, but when we see each other, we ah hook up..." I chuckle, and he nods.
We head to a restaurant and have dinner, and I have fun, but all I can think about is Pedri, to be honest. When he brings me home. He walks me to my door. "So I'm guessing this won't happen again?"He said, and I nodded."I'm sorry....I just -" "still have feelings for him... I get it!" He said, and I smiled and hugged him. "Thank you for a great date! I'm sure I'll see you soon!" He nods, and I smile, pulling away and heading inside.
