Elenas Pov
Pablo opens the door. "Elena?? What happened?" He pulled me into  a hug, and I cried into his chest. He rubs my back and brings me inside. I see Fermìn sitting there, and I pull away. "I'm sorry. I should just go..." I said, realising his has company, and he shakes his head. "No, Elena, you're fine, stay!" Pablo said, and I nodded. I sit down, and he sits next to me.
"So what happened?" He asked, and I looked at him. I wipe my tears. "So you know the way he's being acting weird since Joao got here....he seems to think that I'd do what I did to you to him....and he said he doesn't trust me. So I told him this relationship won't work if he doesn't trust me....and he said that well maybe it won't then. And I tried to tell him that I only loved him....but he said he can't trust that anything will never happen between me and Joao.....so I ended it." I said, and he looks at me sympathetically. "Oh, Elena......" He said, and I shook my head. "That's not all....I went to his house after having a nap, and I realised that I messed up and just wanted to fight for what we have, and we can't end like this. But what do I walk in on him doing......fucking some other girl..." I said, and tears fell down my face again. "Omg!! What the fuck!" Pablo said and pulled me into another hug. "Elena....I'm sorry...." He said and I shake my head. "It's karma after what I did to you...." I pulled away. "No, don't say that.....its not true....he can't accuse you of cheating when you clearly are not and go off and do it himself. " He said, and I sighed. "He's just gonna use the excuse that we were broken up. But to do it a few hours after we ended...." I said, and I wiped my tears. "I should go. I'm sorry for bothering you. You don't want to hear any of this after what I did to you...." I said and stood up. "Elena, stop. You're not okay. Look, we may have broken up on bad terms, but I still care about you. You're my friend now. And if you're hurting, I want you to be able to come to me." He said and smiled, and I nodded. "Thank you, Pablo." I said, and he smiled. "Cmon, just sit down with us, and we can watch a movie or something, and you can just take your mind off things, okay?" He said, and I nodded. He left to go and get snacks for us. "Sorry you had to hear all that...." I said to Fermin, and he chuckles. "It's fine, don't worry about it. I just hope you're okay....?" He asked, and I shook my head. "Not really, but Pablo always knows how to cheer me up." I smile, and he nods. "Yeah, he can cheer up anyone up. " He said, and I nod and smile.
Pablo comes back in and hands us all some popcorn and drinks. He sits down beside me again and presses play to the movie.
We are watching the movie, and I feel myself naturally just falling asleep on his shoulder. He looks down at me and smiles. Fermin looks at him. "Do you still love her?" He asks him, and Pablo looks back at him. "Yes, but not the way I did when we were together. I'm over that. It's the love where I care about her so much as a friend. I don't want to see her hurt. Even though she hurt me. I still wish the best for her. I just don't understand why Pedri would throw away what he had with a perfect girl, you know. But yeah, I still love her but just as a friend." He said smiling, and Fermin smiled back."It's good you can just put that behind you and still care for her. " He said, and Pablo nodded. "Yeah, and I care about Pedri too......and I'll ring him tomorrow. I'm sure they'll find their way back to each other eventually, but I think it's gonna take her time to even forgive him."
Pablo said, and Fermin nodded. I smile after hearing everything, and I feel Pablo pick me up and carry me upstairs to the guest room. He places me down and then kisses my head. "Goodnight, Elena..." He said and walked out of the room. I fall into a deep sleep.
