Chapter 44

Elenas Pov
After everything is over. I just sit in the bed and stare at the ceiling. Pedri left to go and get me something to drink and eat. I told him I'm not hungry, but he refused not to get me anything.
I just keep looking at the ceiling when someone knocks on the door. I don't look at them, and they walk in. "Elena....." I hear Sira say, and I look at her and then look at her stomach. I burst out crying again, and Pedri rushes in as soon as hears. "I think you two should go.....its too soon..." Sira nods and leaves, and Ferrans hugs me, and I hug him back. "I'm so sorry, Elena...." He kissed my head and left.
Pedri comes over and climbs into the bed and holds me. I cry into his chest, and he rubs my back. "I'm right here, princess. I'm not going anywhere....." He said and kissed my head. I just nod, and I leave my head on his chest. He lies down, and so do I. He strokes my hair, and I slowly fall asleep in his arms.

Pedris Pov.
I look down at her, and I push hair out of her face and kiss her head. I slowly get up, and I walk out of the room. Making sure she doesn't wake up in the process.
I walk out, and I slide down the wall and cry into my arms. "WHYYYY LORD, WHYYY!!" I scream, and Pablo rushes over and wraps his arms around me. I looked at him and just cried into his chest. He doesn't say anything because the truth is he doesn't even know what to say. He's heartbroken for you both. He doesn't understand why this would happen to two special people who deserved nothing but happiness.
I wipe my tears and pull away from him. "Why Elena and I......why couldn't we just be happy for once...." I said, and Pablo sighed. "I know, man, you don't deserve this....I'm so sorry...." He said, and I nodded, and I got up.
I walked over to Sira and Ferran. "I'm sorry about earlier, Sira....I just think her seeing you still pregnant. It's gonna be hard for her. " I said, and she nodded and hugged me. "I understand it's okay...." I hugged her back, and I pulled away and set down. Ferran taps my back, and I just looked down. "I just don't understand......he was fine a few days ago at our scan....." I said, and tears roll down my cheeks again. "I know....none of us understand this....." Ferran said, and I nodded. He wrapped an arm around me, and I sobbed onto his shoulder. Pablo comes over to the other side and hugs me, and then we are all just hugging while I cry.

Elenas Pov
I wake up, and I look around the room. Pedri isn't here, and I start to panic. I press the red button, and a nurse rushes in. "What's wrong?" She asks, and I cry."I need my boyfriend. Where is he???" I ask, and she nods and goes out and calls him.
He rushed in and ran over to me. "Hey, hey, I'm here...." He said, and I hugged him. "I thought you left me...." I whisper, and he shakes his head. "I'm going nowhere..." He wipes my tears and kisses my lips softly. I kiss him back, and then I just hug him again. He holds me in his arms and strokes my hair.
"I can't believe he's gone, Pepi....." I whisper, and he nods. "I know.....either can I..." He looks into his eyes. "I know it will take time... but we will be okay again." He said, and I nodded. "Me and you always...." I said, and I stick out my pinky, and he smiles a little and links his pinky with mine. "Always." He kisses them, and I smile a little. "I love you, Pepi, so much." I said, and he kisses me. "I love you more, mi princesa." He kisses my head, and I cuddle into him.
We lay there for a while in silence. Eventually, the doctor came in and said I could leave. I get up, and Pedri helps me change into the clothes Sira brought for me.
He kisses my head and then helps me out of the bed and grabs my bags and my hand as we leave the room.
I feel everyone's eyes on me. I look at Pedri and whisper. "I can't talk to anyone right now...." I said, and he nodded. "It's okay." He squeezes my hand and gives them a look, saying everything they need to know.
We leave the hospital with my head down, and he helps me into his car. I sit down, and I stare out the window. Pedris puts the bags in the back and then gets into the drivers seat. He looks over at me, and I don't look back. "Elena...." He said and grabbed my hand to get my attention. I look at him. "You wanna get something to eat and bring it home?" He asked, and I nodded. "Just mcdonalds...." I said, and he nodded. He started the car and drove off, still holding my hand. I just look down, and I play with his fingers, trying to distract myself.
We arrived at the drive thru, and he ordered the food, and once we got it. He drove off home. We arrived at his house. He gets out and brings everything inside first. He then comes over and picks me up and carries me inside and places me down on the couch. He kissed my cheek and then brought the food over. We ate our food and then just cuddled and watched a movie.

[Realised too. I said in the last chapter that Ferran and Pedri were at training. Let's just pretend he only went on loan till January and now is back in barca, and it happened during all the time skips]
