After their chat with Crowley, the demon hasn't been around. Maggie couldn't help but feel troubled, especially since Aziraphale still hasn't shown up and her rent money has been gathering dust. Luckily, there hasn't been too much time for Maggie to worry about the fates of the angel and the demon she's grown so fond of. Instead, she's had to worry endlessly about her time with Nina.

It has been a month and the two new lovebirds have been exploring each other's company more often than they did before Nina slipped her hand in Maggie's—the latter had no problem understanding that gesture. Instead of parting ways as soon as the coffee shop was all cleaned and locked up, they've been going to dinner, walking around town, or simply staying in their stores listening to music or having leftover cake.

Maggie has been more than happy to introduce Nina to all kinds of music. They've had a candlelight dinner to Nina Simone, cuddle sessions to Norma Tanega and clumsy dances to Queen—turns out it's much easier to dance when under a miracle, especially for Maggie. It's been a dream for her, although she's scared that maybe she's moving too fast. Sure, they only kissed for the first time last week. Three weeks had felt like an eternity but she wanted to wait instead of forcing something onto Nina when she isn't ready yet, especially since the mere mention of Lindsay still seems to sting.

Nina had walked Maggie out after a wine and cheese date at "Give Me Coffee Or Give Me Death". Maggie hadn't even had any alcohol but somehow, by the time the night was over, her cheeks were more flushed than her friend's were after a couple of glasses. They had opened up a lot to each other that evening, talking about their past and a little about their hopes and dreams. When it was time to say goodbye, neither of them turned around to leave, lingering in each other's presence for as long as they could. Then, slowly, they started to lean closer to each other. Maggie is convinced she was the one to initiate their first kiss but it was more of a mutual sort of thing. It was quick and tender but Maggie had felt an urgency in it which made her let go sooner than she had wanted. If she hadn't, she would have lost herself in that kiss and she was so looking forward to getting to know each of Nina's kisses. One at a time. No rush.

Except all Maggie can feel is a rush. Her feelings for Nina feel like a never-ending caffeine high, not a limit in sight. She wants to take every smile and cherish it forever. She wants every laugh to hold her tight. Most of all, though she'd hardly admit it, she wants to put her hands on every part of her body. That's exactly why Maggie has been holding back. She can't come at her crush like a tornado, forcing her to feel everything she feels. After all, her attraction has been a long-time thing whereas Nina has only just started seeing her in that light.

She wishes Aziraphale would show up soon. They never did get to lecture him about meddling in their love lives but after these three months, all she wishes to do is pull him into a big hug and say thank you. Not that the idea that none of this is real doesn't still hang over her but she's willing to focus on other things most days.

When the last customer of the day leaves the coffee shop, Maggie comes strolling in. She carries a big box in her arms, resting on her bosom for support and blocking most of her line of sight. She nearly crashes into Nina holding empty teacups.

'Wow—you need some help over there?' Nina frowns, holding her arms out to keep her friend from running into her again.

'I can perfectly manage! I am used to carrying heavy boxes full of LPs and, well, you get the gist,' Maggie's voice is all giddy and nervous at the same time. She places the box on one of the empty tables and takes in Nina's curious look for the first time. 'Hello, there, angel. Busy day?' She moves over to kiss her friend on the cheek.

'I managed. We're not going to ignore the elephant in the room, are we?' She nudges her head in the direction of the box. She advances towards it but Maggie draws her back.
