I wake up on a Friday. I was still psyched that I had slept through an entire day and still sleep through the night on Wednesday. Thursday, I spent my day getting myself ready for today. I searched for all my appropriate clothing. Retrieved my personal healthcare items and a first aid kit, just to be safe. I can never be too safe, right? I also got my toothbrush and toothpaste and mouthwash. Got a bit of a dirty mind going on.

"What am I gonna do with my mouth that requires this later on?" I teased myself then blushed at the thought of me actually doing something naughty.

"No no. Can't think that way. I'm just bringing this for personal hygiene. Nothing more. Nothing less." I looked around again. "Who am I talking to?"

I grabbed at least three duffel bags suited for my clothes and belongings, such as phone charger, flashlight (in case I want to do some midnight exploring), some books that I haven't finished yet and some that I want to start, two brand new Kodak cameras, towels and soap and washcloth and swimming trunks, and my music player with thousands of music.

"I really hope that I get more music on this. Some songs are just getting old for me..."

I continued on and grabbed some unnecessary miscellaneous objects. My wolf doll. My dog tag. My mini speaker. Sunglasses. Etcetera. Luckily it all fit in my bags with some ease.

I plopped on my bed and pondered. "I should really bathe. It's been a while and I could really use one right about now." I mustered all my strength to get up amd advanced to my restroom, turning on the shower. I really hate how most of the dials just give me cold water. I shifted the knob to the far left halfway.

"Hmm...too cold still...just a bit more." I experimented the liquid that is heating up quickly to the perfect temperature.

After my relaxation, I got in my pajamas and headed off to bed. Such a comfy mattress. It's like laying on a cloud. Perhaps it's just my muscles not able to relax that's giving me this wondrous sensation. Every part of me just wants to shut down and escape into another realm. Drifting. Floating away. Losing my grip on reality. I'm beginning to fall asleep...

And here I am, driving first thing in the morning, about to get my check. Knowing Matthew, he's giving me more than decent amount of money for this pay week. I hate to think differently from him but I'm just as good as everyone else.

I pulled up at the entrance and exited my vehicle. The bells on our door rang merrily to signal someone entered the store. At the counter I saw my coworker on the phone, most likely assisting a customer. I saw Matthew in the back kitchen making food. I stood at the front, waiting for someone to attend to my care. And someone did. Trevor, tye assistant manager of the store came to my need.

"Hey Kyo, what's up? You working today?" He greeted me with a smile. I can tell the smile is genuine. Great workers are here and it really looks like the day is at an easy pace.

"Nah, just here for my check. I'm about to go on my vacation."

"Oh sweet! Where are you planning on doing?"

"I'm going to Waterfront village. I just saw a catalog for it and looks simply perfect." I spoke like I was a high class rich snoody blonde haired person.

"That's nice. I hope you have a fantastic-" The phone rang. What timing... Matthew also came up and handed me my check.

"Kyo." He stared at me.

"What?" I replied.

"..." He shook his head.

"What?" I began to worry.

He broke character and smiled, going back to the kitchen and resume the cooking.

There was nothing left to say so I just made my way out, giving everyone a wave to signal the start of my temporary absence.
