As Torahiko dragged me away to an unfamiliar place, my thoughts began to wander. What was it that those two were talking about? Was it something to do with me? Were they planning something that involves me? Or...Does it not have to do with me at all? I couldn't stand questioning this. I have to ask.
"Hey, Tora?" I broke free from my own trance and stepped into a room with three new faces what seems like an angered bear, a cool and collected dog, and an irritated husky.
"Kyo? What is it?" Tora twitched his ears as he gave me a concerned look. I didn't notice it for my main focus was the trio of beasts right in front of me. This is all déjà vu again. But I must not cower. It seems like they want to kill us but surely it's just my imagination.
"I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!!" The husky yelled as he came after us. Lucky for me, I fainted right then and there. My last sight of the world was a feline getting choked by a canine. So sorry Torahiko. I couldn't help it.
I suddenly came to and witnessed quite the change of behavior of the beasts. They were all getting along with each other. What the hell happened!? What did I miss!?
"It's really not that bad. Though, I am not a professional, you should have Shin try it as well. Just to get his input on it." The golden dog spoke.
"I agree. I really like the honey ones. Are there anymore?" The bear calmly uttered those words but seems like he was hiding something.
"Uh, Juuichi, you know you are not supposed eat like that. What would Ten say about this?" Luckily the grey canine spoke up before the Juuichi could make a move. He just froze for a moment and looked down.
"Hm? W-what's going on here?" I lost my focus on the group and began examining my surroundings. I got up and kept my distance.
"Kyo! You're back from the dead!" Torahiko raised his voice happily. "Just in time for you to try some of my food!"
I said nothing. Clearly he seem happy. But he was just straggled by, what looks like, his friend a few moments ago. I don't understand.
"Torahiko. You haven't introduced us yet. That's impolite." Juuichi muttered.
"Oh I see. You want to get to know him better, isn't that right? A few minutes in and you're all into Kyo?" Tora teased him.
"Tora!" Juuichi yelled and slugged the feline. "You know full well that isn't the reason!"
Torahiko groaned in pain as the husky chuckled. The retriever just watched as it all happened, shaking his head.
"Ugh...that right there is Juuichi. The big lovable bear. Kouya is the grey wolf-"
"I AM NOT A WOLF!" Kouya interrupted. "I'm a husky." He changed his tone, correcting Torahiko while speaking to me directly.
"And the strong silent type is Kyouji. He's different compared to those two."
"Well of course I am. I am a different breed than Kouya, mind you."
"And you all are friends?" I had to question it. I mean, who wouldn't?
"Yes. And I have heard that you met the rest of us, if not then more of us." Kyouji included.
"The rest? What do you mean?" I'm lost. I'm in the first week of this place and I met how many people already?
"Well Soutarou told me you've met him. He likes you a lot." Kyouji smiled.
"And Shun took a liking to you as well. You have a way with kids, I see." Kouya added with a teasing humor with it.
