*Ty'nae Jackson*I shook my head at the thought of my boy in a hospital bed sleep with bullet holes in him. Luckily he didn't get hit in a severe part of his chest. One bullet went through his shoulder and the other went through his thigh. Neither hit any main arteries. To me that was GOD giving him a second chance and I wanted to help with that. Knowing Ray he won't allow himself to be ran off by anybody, but its up to me to convince him that moving out of town was the best solution for everything to die down. It's not just that the beef is making the block hot but its also about losing a childhood friend. Just like that we was left vulnerable if I would of turned the car off in that moment and wasn't able to speed off, who knows what other bullets could of hit him and where they could of landed. Not just him but me as well.
Ray began to wake up.
Ray: I know you ain't over there crying (laughing)
Ty: Naa I'm over praying you ain't dead n***a, how you feeling?
Ray: I'm just in a little pain, Doc said I'm good. The bullets went straight through.
Ty: Yeah I know that part. When you going home?
Ray: I'm being discharged today. I'm ready to go now.
The nurse came in the room to check Ray and give him some pain medication. She explained the Doctor wanted him to make a follow up appointment with a specialist and gave him a prescription for his medication. She gave him some papers to sign and left out the room start his discharge process.Ray: See I'ma be good the doctor got me my meds, we can leave shortly.
Ty: Yeah bro. After we leave here I need to finish that conversation we was having I think you can hear me out a little more now you don't feel like your Mr. Untouchable.
Ray: Yeah, maybe I might hear you out but I'm not scared of no war. These are just war scars every real soldier has them. It's nothing to me I ate this. Might not be untouchable but I'm unstoppable.
Ty: Naa, you blessed. That could of been your heart. That was GOD honestly.
Ray: I know you not about to start talking about GOD to me.
Ty: Naa, I'm not going religious on you. Just tryna get you to think.
The nurse came back in with the discharge papers letting us know we can leave. She helped Ray put on his shirt then the sling for his arm. He also had one crutch to keep the pressure off his leg.
After we left the hospital I took Ray to get his medication from CVS, then took him to a hotel. Of course I paid for everything. Ray was my boy since I was little, putting him on a sheet ain't a option so I gotta move smart no matter what he say.
Ray: I guess I'ma be at this hotel for awhile. At least can you roll up for me before you leave me here, you see a n***a only got one arm.
Ty: (laughing) One arm, one leg. You only use one side of your brain so it shouldn't be that bad n***a.
Ray: Shut up.
Ty: Naa forreal on a serious note. We gotta get you outta here ASAP. What just happened not sitting right with me. I set it up for you to go to New York while you was on your little 3 day vacation in the hospital. Twerk got you a crib and a whip. Its waiting for you when you get off the train tomorrow. So sorry no you won't be here in this hotel for awhile, only for tonight. The train leave tomorrow at 1pm. I'll have one of my girls escort you there. make sure you get on the train. The crib paid for up to a year and the car is yours. All you gotta do is go get yourself together. Maybe go to school or open a business. It's really up to you. Get away from here and start over. You my boy so I'ma tell you what's right.
