*during the time of the first avenger*
Holly's POV
Me and Lydia were staying at Auntie Laura's, while our parents went to work. I was doing some homework when I got a call from my mam. She told me that dad was mind controlled, so he was working against SHIELD. I was always close to my dad, so it hit me hard. I asked if she was gonna come and see us, but she said that might be hard. I kinda miss my parents being around. It wasn't up until I was 10 that they both went off to do missions. They were normally home most of the time.
I picked up shatter me and decided to lose myself in the story. That's what I did, until my bedroom door opened and mam was in the doorway. I jumped into her arms, giving and receiving a big hug. We stood like this for a while and I must of cried because when I let go, her shoulder was wet and mam stroked my cheeks so they must of been wet.
"How you feeling?"
"I want him back"
"I know Holly, I know and I promise you I will"
"Please don't leave"
"I'm sorry, I really need to. To help capture Loki."
"Okay, but make sure you update me and call me, if you get dad back"
"Always Детка" She gave me one last hug and I went downstairs with her and she left and I grabbed my favourite Ben and Jerry's ice cream and turned the TV on.
Lydia's POV
I was sitting in the kitchen, making lunch/dessert. When Laura came in with tears in her eyes.
"Lydia, your dad's been compromised" she told me then turned away and went back into the living room. I hung my head, then realised that Holly must of found out cause she chucked her book hard, and thudded on the floor upstairs. I solemnly eat my food, when the front door opens. Mam walks in and I give her a hug.
"Holly threw her books" I say
"I'll go check on her thanks hun." I was the youngest of me and Holly, but I was always looking out for her at home and at school she is looking out for me.
Lila came in from outside and gave me a hug
"Auntie Nat told me"
"Yeah, but I think your mam needs some comfort as well"
"Yeah, she is outside, you sure you are okay?"
"Always" Lila left and went outside when mam and Holly came downstairs. She said bye, gave us both a hug and left. As soon as the door shut. Holly grabbed out her favourite B&J flavour ice cream and turned the TV on. She was wearing joggers and a hoodie, but I knew how she was feeling, because she kept fiddling with her rings and the drawstrings on her hoodie. Lila came in with Laura and we all sat and watched the TV. I pulled Holly into a hug during the movie and she accepted and didn't move.
