Obsessed (Tariq x cane)

Third Person Pov 

"Dru when did you know you were you know?" Cane asks looking down nervously and dru smirked with crossed arms. "Why?" Dru asks and cane rolled his eyes. "I'm just curious now answer my question" Cane says. "Well i know when i met the right person and that first type of crush can be difficult to digest but it'll get better" Dru says. "Oh" Cane says simply thinking about tariq and how since he came over for dinner he felt something towards him that he hadn't felt for anyone. 

Maybe it was how observant he was with noticing his uncle frank had snitched or how bold he was to speak up for himself when most people would have been scared. There was something about tariq that had him stuck and he didn't want to let go of this awesome feeling. He felt like he was floating on a cloud as if he was at peace. He knows he has a bad temper but he feels liek tariq can help him. 

He feelings liek tariq is the only one who can handle how crazy he is. "Is that all you wanted to ask?" Dru asks snapping cane out of his thoughts.  "Yeah that's all" Cane says going to his room and dru let out a chuckle knowing the real reason cane was asking that question. Cane felt his heart skip a beat thinking about everything and then a smile made it's way to his face that's how he knew he had it bad. 

Cane then got a text from tariq with him saying he was having nightmares. Cane felt his heart get heavy knowing tariq occasionally suffered from nightmares due to guilt about everything he's done. Cane quickly texted back letting him know he'd be there soon and he'd bring a tub of ice cream. Cane smiled when he got another text reading 'Really? You don't have to'. Cane then had a small smile while typing the next message. 

'Yes really you always got me'. Tariq smiled while reading the message before turning his phone off and looking up at the ceiling.
