(I apologize for making this even longer but I really wanted to revise this into such a better and more mature story. One with way more depth and character development. Hope y'all like it for the better!)

I visibly stiffened as I watched Jack slump over into the crows nest before sitting cross legged across from me where Elizabeth had been before. He flashed me a toothy grin while I stared incredulously.
  "Hi"

My brows raised in surprise at his greeting but my expression showed nothing other than confusion and surprise,

"I came up here to be alone and yet it would seem this is the new hot spot"
I spoke in annoyance

"Oh come on, mate. What else are you doing besides brooding? Why don't you humor a person just this once"

He flashed me a grin while I just blinked at him.
Slowly, I held out the bottle to him

"Whisky?"
I asked him finally, completely ignoring his question and his greeting.

He chuckled lightly as he held up a bottle of rum.

"Thanks mate, but I've got my own. What are you doing all the way up here by your lonesome anyways?"

He scooted closer to me, but unlike Elizabeth who merely sat next to me, Jack mirrored my position, with one knee up, his hand with the bottle resting on it.
For some reason him scooting closer to me didn't bother me like when everyone else tries to get close. Strange.

"It's better this way. I'll be less attached to the crew should anything go wrong on this journey. No sense getting attached to a crew who will probably end up dead anyways"

I said looking up at the sky. Jack studied me for a moment, before turning back to the stars

"Better that way ay? And what will you do if you have another panic attack? Does that happen often? Who will help you then should you continue to close yourself off to anybody who would care for you"

I laughed lightly at this.

"No. It doesn't happen often. I've never had a panic attack up until today. What would also help is to never step foot in that hell again..above all, I can handle myself. Nobody should care or worry for me. Not like I can die anyways as I'm sure Tia Dorma already told you what shes done to me. I'm surprised with you Jack. Everybody warned me that you'd be relentless with flirtation. Maybe I'm just not your cup of rum"
I smirked at him, almost expectedly knowing. He smirked back as he took a swig of rum.

"Oh you're definitely not my cup of rum. Whiskey is Far too strong for my taste"

My brows raised in surprise but soon deflated as he laughed but he stopped when he saw I hadn't joined in on it. He sighed with a nod

"Aye, she told me about it. I'll admit you caught me eye right away and not because of the ptsd. I've never seen a woman in this world doing what you have done and carry herself so well. I mean you haven't got a single scar on that porcelain body of yours but you have tattoos on your wrists and face and that's just what I can see. You don't seem like the rest. Reckless"
"You mean I don't look like a woman of poor hygiene? Oh whatever will Elizabeth and I do knowing we don't look the part. I'm not some doll. I may look like one but that would be a grave mistake to make. Tch you don't know anything about me. I can be very reckless"

I pulled the collar of my shirt to the right showing my shoulder. His brows raised slightly in interest seeing the light pinkish tan mark that had been hidden from view all this time.
A nasty scar in the shape of a lightning bold that went down her shoulder and into her collar bone.

"It's easy to cover things like these up. Maybe I just want people to think I'm that untouchable. Like you"

I spat in annoyance but it didn't seem to faze him. Not one bit. He was too busy checking out the scar.
I rolled my eyes, pulling my shirt back up.
