Now or Never

As Jack held the heart in his hand, for the first time in his life he felt helpless.
He didn't know what choice to make and if it would be the wrong one.

"J-Jack..you have to..end this now..before it's really too late..forget about Will and I..this is bigger...than us..so for once..do the right thing"
"Love hang on, just a little longer stay with me. Stay here, please"
Jacks voice was becoming more desperate. Something I had never heard from him before. It made me happy to know I, out of all the woman and people in the world he's met..was able to change him for the better..even if it is temporary without me by his side..I could die happily knowing he was willing to change for me..to love me the way I always had deserved..
"Thank you for showing me the sunlight along the horizon again..thank you for bringing me back to life again Jack..but I..Im just so tired...I'm sorry"
I breathed out as a tear slid down my eye.

"No darling! No saying your goodbyes! Not yet! I can't lose you now love...you're too strong to quit and I don't intend to let you go"
Jack said touching my cheek. I smiled up at him and closed my eyes but he pulled his hand away
"Oy! You're not dying today love !! I forbid it! Marie and Tia Dorma didnt sacrifice all that they dis so you could roll over and die! Now get the bloody hell up and fight for your life!"
Jack yelled, sending a fire through me that made me snap my eyes open and take in a deep breath.
I coughed up blood again as I shot up into a sitting position, which sent a wave of relief to Jack. I looked at Will with a sad knowing look.
"I know what we have to do Jack..and you may not like it but we only have as much time as Bootstrap has fighting him off so let's do this now!"
I said looking up at Jack
"What's your plan?"
Jack asked kneeling down next to me as we watched Bootstrap and Jones fight eachother mercilessly
"Jack..He was stabbed in the heart...you have to let Will take the Dutchman"
I said through pants. Jack stared at the heart then back at Will
"But Elizabeth-"
"Would rather have Will alive and see him once a decade vs dead and wait a lifetime to see him or hear his voice again. I'd do the same for you"
I said weakly. Jack looked from Will and Elizabeth to me again before nodding.
"I love you darling"
Jack said touching my cheek. I smiled at him
"You'll forever be my one true love"
I said kissing Jack deeply.
He kissed back but let go quickly and ran over to Will.
I watched as Jack had the unconscious Will grab the broken sword and stab the heart himself. The fight between Jones and Bootstrap immediately ended when Jones backed up against the edge of the ship, frozen as his beardly tentacles all twitched with the icy breath of death. He then looked to the sky with hazed eyes
"Calypso"
He fell into the center of the whirl pool that was the essence of Calypso.
"We did it. Great job Jack..He's gonna be alright"
I smiled at Elizabeth. She smiled at me weakly but frowned and touched my cheek seeing how pale I was.
"Jack she's so cold"
Elizabeth breathed out with wide eyes and a look of panic. Jack looked up at me with concern as I looked at them both
"What? I'm fi-"
Jack's face went pale as he jumped to me without another thought, catching me in his arms. All adrenaline had left my body.
I fell unconsious from blood loss, the last memory I had were voices coming from all around me repeating over and over again 'Part of the Ship Part of the Crew. .

((Jacks pov))

Jack stared around as all of Jones former crew circled them all. He was quick to scoop up Jessica in his arms and set her down next to Will. He knew Elizabeth was going to be the real struggle.
"The Dutchman must have a captain"
Bootstrap said with the chest and a knife in his hands.

He knew too well what Bootstrap was going to do.
Wills heart must reside in the box for him to be captain. For him to have any chance of a life. It was his only chance. It was better than him being dead.
Jack pulled Lizzy back but she struggled, trying to hold onto Will but even Bootstrap helped Jack pull her back.
Bootstrap gingerly picked Jessica up and handed her to Jack
"You take care of our Pirate Queen and First Lady to the Dutchman now, Jackie. Both are of high importance..Marie would of been proud to see how far she's gone since her death..Queen of Pirates"
Bootstrap spoke with a light laugh. Jack nodded with a small smile
"Aye. Marie made one hell of a pirate, that's for sure. Take care of baby boot strap, as our Queen so affectionately calls him"
Jack said smiling and without another word he grabbed onto Elizabeth's waist after using a rope to tie Jessica to his back.
"No! No I won't leave him!"
She screamed trying to struggle against Jack but they didn't have time for this. The ship was already ankle deep in water. They were going under to go back to the locker to seal Wills fate aboard the Dutchman and the three of them had to leave now or they wouldn't survive Calypso's wrath.
"We don't have a choice Elizabeth! This ship is going under with or without us! Jessica needs first aid now or she's going to die. Wills going to be alright Elizabeth but we have to go. Now"
Elizabeth gave one long last look at Will before wrapping her arms around Jacks waist. He took a spare sail from the floor of the ship and  held onto it to make it into a parachute. It sent them all flying in the air as the Dutchman sank underwater, with Will and the crew on it.
