The game came to an end but I made no move to get off of Theo's lap and Theo made no move to move me off. In fact, he continued whispering in my ear, running his hands over my body but they always seemed to find their home on my thighs, and I was perfectly fine with that.
People were slowly making their leave, some had to be carried out by their friends. I was happily tipsy and Theo couldn't have had more than 2 drinks. Pansy and the rest of the group, however, were well on their way to drunk. When Pansy climbed onto the coffee table I took that as my queue to get her up to bed. We made arrangements during the quidditch game to have a sleepover in Pansy's dorm room.
I stand up off of Theo's lap, not before I heard a sound of disapproval fall from his lips.
I stuck my hand out to Pansy and said "Alright babe I think it's time we get you to bed". She got off the table with only a slight sway and got excited, "Sleepover time! I can't wait to talk about boys with you all night.." she kept rambling about how we can do face masks, and watch muggle rom-coms. She starts to tug my hand to go upstairs but I tell her one moment before I quickly make my way to the now-standing Theo and kiss him on the cheek with a quick goodnight. He smiled at me, like a real smile. I would've swooned if Pansy hadn't caught my hand again. She was strong for a drunk girl. I looked back one more time and there he was still looking at me with his adorable smile.
The moment pansy hit the bed she was out, I took off her shoes and did my best to take off her makeup before tucking her in. As I was getting ready for bed, I couldn't help but smile. I had a really good time tonight and Theo was a big part of the reason why.
He smiled at me.
